We went for lunch and had burritos, the burritos were stuffed full, and not just mostly rice. Ordering is simple, just a touch... screen that walks you through everything, then your food is ready quickly. Staff were friendly. From the moment you walk inside you can smell the wonderful aromas cooking behind the glass kitchen counter. They have self... ordering stations with big touch screens and the menu navigation are clear with no guessing about what you are ordering due tothe visual picture aides. There are plenty of tables to sit or take out. Very colorful in the inside with the colorful milkcrates as lights. The food is delicious and they give you just enough that you don't feel bloated but satisfied. Pricing $$worth it...enjoy! Read more
People working at District Taco are the friendliest most helpful folks. A few times after we ordered they called over to us... asking if we had forgotten ingredients- which we did and were grateful. This is by far by my new favorite place to get tacos! Everything was SO fresh and delicious! Food is made to order which you can... do yourself by way of touchscreens(they have at least 3 available) or you can place your order at the counter. I had the 3 tacodeal with flour tortillas. You have SEVERAL choices for mix-ins and sauces and style as well. If you eat-in, there is plenty ofspace to eat and enjoy yourself inside or there is a small seating area on the side outside. I cannot express how happy I am that there District Taco close to where I live. I used to live in Fairfax, VA. While living... there, I had the privilege of going to the original taco truck and the 3 different restaurants. When I moved 8 years ago, I wassad that I wasn't going to be able to get my district taco fix. I went to the one in Abington shopping center and it wasnostalgic. Meats and salsas were the same high quality and tasted exactly the same. I only have one complaint, the al pastorwas not available...which was always my favorite. Also, there were no Boylan sodas. Hopefully they bring them back (gentlenudge to the owner reading this). Do yourself a favor. Go to district taco. You will not regret it. Read more
I purchased a burrito and it was not so good. It was way too much rice( even thought I said lite on the rice). Also they only... use white rice and not an healthier option like brown rice. However, the staff is very nice and friendly, especially themanager. She noticed I had a few concerns and was kind enough to ask me what she can do to make my visit positive. Its for thatreason I am giving them a 4 star instead of 1 star even tho I did not like the burrito. So customer service really does countand does not go unnoticed. I suggest that you give this place a try. The food is good and fresh. It?s created in an assembly line fashion right in front of... you. The staff is professional and helpful. The service is a bit slow. But they are busy. The prices are a bit high for thistype of establishment. And, I?m not too fond of the touch screen ordering. Go get a taco, or three. ???? Read more
We were so excited that District Taco opened, but it's gotten considerably worse since it opened. After tonight's meal, we're... done giving it chances. Watched what turned out to be our order sit for 15 minutes on the counter until I asked if it was mine. We were starving, otherwise I would have gotten my money back. Tacos were ice cold, not even a little warm, literally cold. Chips were chewy and greasy. Churros were ok. Staff was miserable. Cost of everything was overly expensive for this quality.Crossing it off the list and won't be back, ever. Read more
