We came in the other day for dinner & had a great time! This is more a review about service (although the food was great too).... It can be tough going out to eat for a family that has dietary restrictions & picky eaters, but our server Taylor made it easy.She listened to our requests & double checked our meals were made exactly as we wanted. The experience was great because wefelt she cared and wasn’t annoyed by our order requests like some servers. Attitude matters! Aside from that the food was alsogreat, nice place to spend time at. My brother and I came here for dinner and the food was excellent. It came out far better than I expected (even though I had high... hopes already) and I was pleasantly surprised. Our waitress, Kristen, did an amazing job bringing our food out and she alwaysmade sure to make our experience a pleasant one. She did a great job at making our dinner seem lively and enjoyable. I wanted to give this place another try. The reason I say that is because I ate her back in January and my girlfriend ordered... some chicken that was pink in the middle. So I came back with some co-workers on our lunch. I ordered the chicken sandwich,co-workers ordered the fish tacos and some chicken tenders smothered with some sauces and lattice fries. Staff here were very friendly. I loved our server/bartender, I think his name was James. He was very honest about the menu and... offered his own recommendations. I think this place usually has a good vibe but with the current situation, it was prettyempty. Not the establishment’s fault. Food was tasty and drinks were well made. I have no complaints at all. Mar 28/21 Update: When the owner of a particular restaurant makes time to phone you and personally apologize, you know the... restaurant it top notch and they want their best for their customers. I am in favor and recommended supporting this restaurantby giving it a try as I can assure you, the problem we had WILL be fixed. We are excited to give lunch a second chance. Butdefinitely will be back for their amazing Steak Dinner and English style fish and chips. Upgraded to 4 star. Will give 5 starwhen we tried lunch again. Non fried food is amazing. Service is amazing and friendly. I gave 3 stars because fried food isover cooked and crispy. I advise against order fried food. Read more
Fionns in Ajax is such a great place! Fun family environment and the food is so so good! We had a fantastic experience with our... server Kelly as well! I took my best friend here for her birthday and Kelly went above and beyond to make the experiencespecial. We had a special birthday cake shot delivered to my friend and our food was served promptly. Kelly was able toeffectively answer any of our questions about items on the menu and the overall experience was nothing short of fantastic!!10/10 highly recommended!!! :) Read more
