It was me who requested my wife to try this place out for a change. But the experience was absolutely worthless. We ordered... Hyderabadi lamb Biriyani. It came with 2 peices with a ton of rice. How is it worth for $17.99??? We had also ordered Soldierschicken which cost us $10.99 but had surprisingly low portions for a stand alone dish. The rice of the lamb Biriyani was okay,but the vegetable Biriyani looked absolutely worthless $14.55. Read more
Great customer service Dosa was really nice but I didn?t like sambhar. Nice location with good decor. Samosa chat was amazing.
We tried this place for the first time and ordered Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Wraps. The filling in the wraps were decent.... We ordered it for takeout and had it after about 10 minutes. However, the roti was very soggy as it?s so thin. We did not enjoythis meal as much but, perhaps it may be different if it was a dine in experience. Read more
Excellent combination of good food and open attitude.demonstrated by the owners. Ben there a couple of times, Spoke at length... with owner couple and they seem friendly, warm and open minded. They are willing to give it a shot at some suggestions wehad. Food quality is good and taste is customized to a reasonable request, however, some customers can get very difficult withunreasonable demands.. Will go again..keep up the good work... Cheers. Today we decided to try out this new restaurant in the neighbour hood. We ordered Masala Dosa, Honey Garlic Cauliflower, dahi... Vada, Butter Chicken Roti, Chai and Mango Lassi. We loved everything other than Butter Chicken roti. It was not bad butdefinitely not my favourite. The butter chicken was not what I expected or had in the past. It had a South Indian flavour asopposed to what you typically get In northern India. The flavours for the Dosa and sambhar were authentic and a real treat tomy pallet. I am so glad that finally we have choices of so many Indian restaurants in the Ajax/Pickering area. This restaurantis now definitely one of my favourites. Congratulations to the owners for the new venture. I am sure they will do well as thequality and service of the restaurant is top notch. Read more
Some of the best Dosa I have had. Quite a lot of staff the wait was short. Two different staff members came by to check on me... and my family. Lol the one employees, saw me trying to deal with the spice and kindly offered me a water on the house. They gotreally busy right after we came in busy a line up of 7 to 8 people was dealt with in a matter of minutes. Read more
Wow just checked out this place today and going back for sure! The food was amazing. The service was slow but we didn't mind... waiting because the food was really good. We tried calling ahead (quite a few times infact) but didn't get a response. We werelater told that there was some issue with their phone line today. The manager (perhaps owner?! not sure) noticed that we werewaiting a long time and offered to check in on our order and got our food shortly after. He also offered us drinks forinconvenience, which I had first declined. But we did decide later to try some house drinks that looked so colorful and tastedeven better. Checked out this place when I moved here and after so long I had tasty food. I liked the restaurant and the food. I tried butter... paneer poutine in which i liked the texture and buttery taste of the gravy. I am looking forward to try dosas next time .???????? Read more
