Beautiful setting with wonderful food. I had a perfectly cooked med rare duck breast served over lentils and veggies and berry... sauce encircled it all. My boyfriend had big lump perfectly cooked scallops over a Brussels sprout wild rice slaw the onlydisappointment was there were only 3 scallops at $39. it should have been 5. We were served crispy dinner rolls with cured greenolives in olive oil. Read more

Wonderfully creative food from a chef who blends spices from his Armenian/Persian childhood to classic American dishes, making... them fun and interesting again! An ambitious, big city dining experience in small town Amenia. Read more

My wife, sister-in-law, nephew and sister-in-law went there on 5/7/2022 for a mother day gift to my sister-in-law. My wife and... sister-in-law are half Armenian. Let me first start by saying that the old house that the restaurant is located is has a lot ofcharacter and provides and beautiful ambiance for the dining experience. We started by ordering the roasted eggplant and roastedchicken wings. My sister-in-law was saying that the roasted eggplant was the same that their mother used to make for theirfather when they were growing up. The chicken wings were extremely tasty and was served over a salad that was out of this world. My main course was the Morrocan style chicken bastilla which was tastefully seasoned, with what my wife says tasted likecinnamon, and the pastry shell that it was served in was delicate and flaky. My nephew had the flank steak that he said was " Ohmy god this is so good". My wife had the dolmas, while my sister-in-law had the scallops. My sister-in-law commented that thesize of the scallops and the portion size was perfect. The portion sizes were just enough to leave you wanting more, but notleaving you hungry. Trust me you'll want seconds, it's that good. The plating was very skillfully done, very clean, andinviting. The deserts we ordered ranged from the cheesecake and baklava to the sticky toffee cake. All the deserts were wellmade and very artistically presented. The owner at one point came around to see how everything was and was very personable, courteous and engaging. My wife, sister-in-law and the owner were speaking in Armenian and Arabic and talking about wheredifferent part of their families came from. We will definitely being going back for more in the future. If you are in the areaor visiting, pay them a visit. You won't be disappointed. I'd highly recommend this restaurant without hesitation. Hands down one of my top 10 food tasting experiences. We wanted to try food from a different culture. We heard about Serevan's... so we decided to take the drive from Brooklyn to Hudson Valley. We started our meal with yogurt soup, it was delicious. Thenmoved on to the main course which consisted of a sweet and savory fish dish and braised lamb chops. Both entrees were cooked toperfection and the flavor profiles were divine. Finally, we had dessert with was an Armenian coffee cake it was so good. It wasa delight to witness the chef/owner work his culinary magic. The atmosphere was sweet and cozy. If you are looking for arestaurant where the food is made with love and passion I highly recommend giving Serevan's a try. Read more

Cuisine from Armenia in Amenia! Painstakingly sourced ingredients to prepare masterful dishes of Armenian/Mediterranean palette.... Very friendly chef and staff, and the setting feels pleasantly familiar, "like grandma's house," though with some eye-catchingartwork hung on the walls. Read more

Exquisite experience. The food is a bit exotic but well worth the journey. The lamb was cooked just right with a side of rice... with apricots. The appetizer was a sample of all the various tastes; it was rich and flavourful. A real treat and lookingforward to the next visit. Read more
