if i could give 0 stars i would. firstly when we walked in there was a manager at the door, seemed very rude. when ordering, we... specified that my mom had a peanut allergy, they did not tell us that the salad had sesame seeds, so she almost had an allergicreaction. we told the server we do not eat pork, or beef, and she told us she would brinf the ramen w just vegetables andnoodles, we got a ramen with pork fat or whatever, was absolutely revoltinf. the sushi was gross, overpriced. there was too muchsauce with every roll, fish tasted weird. for the ramen, i spoke with the manager and she was extremely rude, told us to be"more specific" in a very snarky way, absolutely no respect. she took it off the bill, but will never return and i adviseeveryone to pick a different spot to eat! I called in and wanted the lady to ask the cooks if they could use steamed rice instead of the sushi rice and instead of asking... (which most places do) and 70% do this for me I eat it 2-3 times a week. They just don't know most of the times and just have toask the cook. Everytime she just tried to explain to me how itl fall apart and it's not possible,it's different. I said I know Iget this all the time and tryin a new spot. I asked her just to please ask the cook. She said she has before, I'm always thefirst everytime I do this. I asked 3x and she refused saying its not possible the rice is different not listening or simplyasking. I called back to see if u could get a different person she answered I asked for manager and she said she was (don'tbelieve her) I asked if I just talked to her she said yes I hung up. Called bluefin nearby on the way to where I was going andshe didn't know asked the cook and they did it perfectly. Lost my business hopefully this helps others. Our waitress was so sweet I apologize for not remembering her name. I tried the Dragon Roll, Special California and Boston... Baked roll and they were all phenomenal. Everything tasted very fresh. The environment of the place was cozy but fancy at thesame time it made for a great date night. The only criticism that I would have is that I was placed at a table which you faceout to a table across from you with no way to scoot down and face the person im actually eating with and it was a littleawkward. Good spot for a quick Japanese in Ann Arbour. Our server, Quinn, was amazing. He was so attentive and prompt. We had the shrimp... tempura with vegetables which was very nice. Yellow tail ponzu was not the best. The salad and miso starters were very good. Thechicken in the bento ???? box was very dry. The beef noodles was good. Chicken yakitori was ok. Read more

Ansolutely horrendous. Take out arrived soggy because they don’t cut any ventilation holes in the take out containers. They... also crammed all of our rolls into one tray despite them being covered in different sauces so all the flavors mingled togetherruining the entire meal. Edit: upon calling the restaurant I spoke to an incredibly rude manager named Elizabeth who refused tomake the situation right. Her solution was for me to drive all the food back up to the restaurant after getting home. She toldme I was at fault for not having checked each individual item before leaving the restaurant. When I asked for the owner’s nameshe refused to give it to me. When I asked when the owner would be available she told me I could call back in more than aweek. Well guess what, Elizabeth, I’ll gladly place an order to rip open a bag at 7pm on a Friday at your host stand to checkeach item and I’ll make sure every customer understands why I’m having to check each item in therestaurant.
