I used to get great service here but I don't know what happened recently. There were two instances where the online app was not... working or applying my coupon and rather than try and help me out they told me to 'check with my bank' or that I could 'buy amore expensive pizza in the store' with the coupon instead. A most recent experience I came in and they would not give me myorder until I gave them the last digits of my credit card which I found very unprofessional. Never ever again will i go to this s##thole. This is the second time here. The first time we ordered delivery and it was ok and... delivery was about 30 minutes longer then they quoted, but we try to give everyone a second chance just in case it was an offday. We ordered pick-up 2 medium pizzas through the app. When the app said our order was ready I headed down to pick it up. Ionly live about 5 minutes away. When I got there I was greeted abruptly and rudely and then told my order was the next one up. Ilet them know that it should already be done and I showed them the app. The girl rolled her eyes and said yeah I don't know whatto tell you. After waiting for another 10 minutes I asked again where my order was from a different employee who called out tothe back. It got really quiet so I knew something was wrong. Again. I heard them arguing, or rather trying to decide what totell me. I heard one employee say to tell me that it was up next. The second employee to help said you already told him that.Another employee asked much longer it was and I heard the answer, "I forgot to make it." They came out and told me there wassome kind of mix up and they would get on it now. I asked then about the 1st pizza and how it would be sitting there for almost40 minutes. They were very pleased to agree with me because they made it right. I asked for them to remake and they said ok.When the order was finally complete the gave me a fresh pizza and the really old and rubbery pizza. Just don't eat there orwaste your time or money here. This place is ok in selection. I'm consistently disappointed when I order from here to get a certain drink I want, but they... always are out when I get there. I digress, I'm a huge fan of Hungry Howies based on their flavored crust and other options. Myboyfriend introduced me to HH because I grew up in San Diego. I like how melty and tasty their pizza is. They don't hold back onthe ingredients or the flavor. My biggest issues that hold me back are the app. I've gone to the wrong store based on selectinga new store close to me but it defaulted back. I'm also frustrated with the app since it forces me to reset the order every timeI want to change my orders location. This wouldn't be an issue if I wasn't traveling as often. Anyway, Hungry Howies is a greatoption for pizza. They don't skimp on the ingredients and they are so deliciously ooey gooey. You just can't be healthy herewithout ordering a salad only, which is probably still only possible of you ask them to hold the oil and grease. (Totezkidding.... kinda.) Read more

We got quoted 20 to 25 minutes for a simple 2 large Pepperoni pizza order. I waited for almost 40 minutes inside the restaurant... even though they said it would only be 5 more minutes when I got there. I can't wait until Straw Hat pizza opens up here intown. Read more

Hungry Howie's is awesome!! If you haven't had their pizza, go get it! They have the typical selection of take-out pizza... chains but with their twist of seasoned crusts. Plus, stuffed crust. Definitely recommend at least scrolling over and seeingwhat they have. Read more

I used to order every week and thought the staff was wonderful but I don?t know what happened I ordered and they were clearly... busy the pizza took a long time to get delivered and both pizzas were burned. I called to let them know to slow down becausethey were sending out burnt pizza and they only offered to replace one pizza next order, so that was not cool to leave ushanging like that. I ended up giving them another chance after that and ordered delivery again and this time as I was eating aslice there was a hair baked into the crust and it was so gross it still makes me sick to think about it and I haven?t orderedsince. I don?t know what?s going on there but I no longer trust their sanitation or that I?m getting properly prepared qualityfood and it?s a Bummer because I really liked this place. Read more
