Had a good night out at Bowen Island Pub. We got a pizza, pint, and chicken strips. The pizza was great, but the fries were a... bit burnt tasting. Service is a bit slower than you'd expect but they looked a bit understaffed for the night. They had a liveband in on Saturday night. Would go back for sure, but just be weary on the service times if you're in a hurry. Read more

The service was extremely friendly. I highly recommend their ?Island Burger,? which may be one of the top ten burgers I?ve ever... had. I?m less enthusiastic about their ?Avoacaco Smash,? the guacamole/salsa was delicious, but their chips were overcooked. Read more

We visited Bowen for the first time this past weekend and the pub was definitely one of our favourite spots! The value is great... and the vibes are really fun. We came on Friday evening so there was free live music and the musician was fantastic! His namewas Steven Marriott and if you ever see that he's playing you've got to check him out. He even provided business cards with a QRcode so you can request songs! Now for the food, we actually came twice in our two day trip because we visited anotherrestaurant one evening and it was just such small portions (and we were starving) that we were still hungry afterward! So we hitup the pub as it's one of the few places on the island that's open past 8 pm. We got the bucket list burger with fries and thesalmon chowder. Both were super delicious and super filling! The chowder had a good amount of large salmon pieces and came withyummy garlic bread to soak up every lost drop. The burger had everything you could want and the patties are definitely made inhouse and they taste like good quality meat. On our second visit we got the bucket list burger again (because it's that good)and the blackened mushroom swiss with yam fries. The chipotle mayo that came with the yam fries was such a big portion (thecontainer was almost overflowing) and the fries were crispy and perfect. Sometimes yam fries are significantly less crispy thanregular potato fries, but these were excellent! The burger was also really nice, the Cajun seasoning really came through nicelywith the patty. All in all, the pub was so nice we went there twice! And when we plan to visit again it will be on our list!The burgers are definitely a must! Read more

Absolutely the best burger I've ever had. Added an extra patty because I'm a growing boy. Fries were pretty lackluster and over... fried but that burger made up for it. Also tried the bad hombre pizza which was an instant classic. Great service and willdefinitely be back Read more

Went there tonight for a late night dinner and both service and food were excellent. I got their English supper special with... Dynamite prawns as appetizer and they were absolutely delicious. My partner got the Bucket-list burger and their salmon chowderand wolfed down the burger. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. Read more

We were seated within a couple of minutes and the staffensured the table was cleaned before seating us. For food, we tried the Hipster pizza and yam fries here and both were topnotch! Pizza was topped well with plenty of cheese! There are vegan / vegetarian options too. The only downside was it was alittle pricey overall but maybe I'm nitpicking since it's on the island. Food was fast and fresh. I could taste extra oil on Calamari, very greasy. They should work on that! Burger was delicious and... very fresh. Lots of free parking around. Restaurant is a pleasant place to dine in. Decoration is beautiful and fancy. I wouldsay they need a bit of improvement on their fried foods. Fish and chips was very greasy too.
