The definition of a hole in the wall. Authentic food, simple yet inviting atmosphere, and great service. With reasonable prices,... an assortment of ingredient options, and fantastic flavour, I personally wouldn't ever choose Chipotle over Baca Grande. P.s.The Wet Burrito and the Al Pastor were incredible Read more

Best Mexican food in Brookline Village, great authentic atmosphere and even better food. Workers are very nice and efficient.

Beans, rice, and cheese are extra?? They are happy to give you a burrito with just meat and nothing else. The people who work... there were, rude, the burrito was incredibly expensive, and it was very very small and light. There are a ton of other placesto eat near them that will not be rude, give you enough food to be a meal, and to get a better value. Read more

Burrito is the only thing worth getting, maybe the bowl too. Otherwise, the portions are small for the price (9$ for a single... small tostada with scant toppings), somewhat bland food without adequate seasoning, and a grumpy staff member who I was unableto fully communicate with due to language barrier. Quality of the food is awful, somehow it keeps getting worse, the staff is rude and looks annoyed with everything, I hope in the... near future it will be replaced with another business that serves fresh, delicious food by employees who want to work there. Read more

Went here because I vowed never to return to Anna's due to their inconsistency, chronic unchanging (adding things I don't order... on to receipt causing me to overpay almost every time & not trying to give me the difference back) & terrible attitude fromseemingly disgruntled employees. My daughter only likes pinto beans & some local places don't offer them. We tried Boca Grandetonight & I was a little apprehensive because it was 5pm & there wasn't a soul in the store aside from the 2 employees. No oneeven came in the 7 minutes we were in there. Prices are a little bit lower than Anna's but burritos are small, skimp & taste wasjust not authentic. My daughter enjoyed hers the most but we all agreed to try other places & we won't be rushing back here. Read more

Ate lunch here today. Hate giving a 1-star reviews but while it was clean, that was sadly all Boca Grande had going for it. No... smiles or greetings and only frowns ruled the faces of all 3 employees working. I asked for hot sauce (even en español) andwas not told but ?pointed? towards a shelf on the wall with bottled sauces?even after I repeated twice I was asking for ahomemade hot sauce like nearly every other taco joint in the world from Boston to San Diego and beyond, she pointed with afrown. To my food: Despite being there at prime time, my enchiladas were curiously heated in front of my eyes in the microwave(yuck!!), mole sauce was running, food (not surprisingly considering the microwave) didn?t taste good and chicken was rubberyand despite the microwave, cheese didn?t fully melt. I suspect the chicken may have been sitting some time or even an earlierday? On top of below average taste, I got a stomach ache 30 minutes later and it?s been with me almost 10 hours later. Saveyour time, money, health, and stomach pain and go elsewhere. Read more
