I have been holding onto hope for Panera for a long time. We have been going since I was in middle school so I wanted to... continue to keep the good memories. However, these past few trips have been so disappointing and this last one was unfortunatelythe end of the rope for us. This last trip we placed a pick up order. Two "You Pick 2s" and a small mac n cheese. We placed theorder online and were surprised at the limitation of ways to modify for You Pick 2s, when you can for other items. I made a fewnotes in the "other instructions" section before checking out. I went to pick it up and did a quick glance inside (something youshouldn't have to do). I noticed that they had not read the notes and we were missing one bag of chips and chipotle sauce. Not ahuge deal, I asked for them and they gave it to me. Drove home to my husband and toddler, hungry and waiting for dinner. Weunpacked the bag and found the mac n cheese, my toddler's dinner, missing. I was pretty upset since she had been waiting and soI called the cafe. I asked if someone could deliver it since I am 8 months pregnant and didn't want to have to drive back outagain. They don't have delivery. I had to then ask for a refund, which I have NO idea if they actually gave me since my only twooptions were for a gift card or for it to go back onto my account- not CC?? I got off the phone and when we went to eat oursandwiches, we noticed there was barely any food inside the bread. Mine was tasteless. I also noticed that no one had "signedoff" on the items, why even have that there if you aren't going to do it? It was the final straw for us and we will not be goingto back to Panera. Refused to add grains to a salad. Forced me to order a grain bowl instead which is a pile of grains with a little vegetables... added in. Very disappointed in this lack of customer service. Read more
While placing our order, my 5 year old son coughed (seasonal allergies, anyone?!). Nadine, the cashier, looked at my son and... said, ?Are you coughing all over my counter? Now I?m going to have to clean it.? No laughter, no more communication with usafter this. Also- no cleaning the counter, either. I completely understand we are in a pandemic, but kindness- especially tochildren- goes a long way. Read more
They don't have the app connected, had gift card loaded to my panera account, they couldn't accept in store. Very inconvenient.... Food was overpriced, 26 dollars for mac cheese, chicken noodle soup plus drinks. Read more
Pretty disappointed. Order was to go, so by the time we noticed we where not going back. No excuses for the lack of quality.... Store was empty. Except for two people eating. Not sure how you can cut a sandwich in half, but the meat, and lettuce of thesandwich Is still hole, unless of course your using bread from a different order that was sent back. Bread was soggy and old onone order, but hard and stale on another. Also, charged for items not added. I won't be back. Read more
Super friendly staff but wow when did Panera get so expensive? Ordered a half roasted turkey blt, a cup of chicken noodle soup,... and an iced strawberry lemonade. $18. Unreal. I usually get the steak and cheese sandwich with the side salad and the steak and cheese sandwich has gone downhill there's... hardly any meat in it very disappointing Service was phenomenal that's about the best I can say about Panera Bread Read more
