I wanted to fina a sushi restaurant that addressed the carbs in a roll, not just sashimi. This may be the only place I have... experienced in the north county where I can find a priceless roll instead of opting for sashimi alone. Read more
Do not go here. They did not know how to make seaweed salad. They put the seaweed on top of a garden pack of salad you would buy... at Ralph?s. It was extremely odd. And when we asked for them to return the salad since that was not what we expected, nor was itmentioned in the menu, they refused. We just moved to the area and we were on the hunt for a go-to sushi spot. Unfortunately Super Sushi just didn't cut it. I... ordered take out and showed up to an empty restaurant. Not the worst thing on a Tuesday at 5pm but not a great sign either. Thefish did seam reasonably fresh and large slices but that's about the only positives I've got. The rolls were stuffed with rice,almost obscenely. Our spicy salmon hand roll was made spicy by adding a couple slivers of jalapeño. The rice just tastes odd,some weird after flavor. The service was really good and we had rolls before we knew what was happening. We got a few of the specialty rolls (The Padre... roll, albacore deluxe,Carlsbad roll) and they we all really good and big rolls. My wife also decided to get the vegetableYakisoba and she loved them. At the end of the night we took most of the noodles home and 6 pieces of the rolls. Servers we allon their game. Very enjoyable! Read more
