Super slow for take out. Even with a low crowd a 2 roll order takes a hour. Worth going somewhere else.

Great family spot. My daughters (7 and 9) love their bento salmon teriyaki box with Tempura. We love the sushi. Great, fresh... seafood. Highly recommend it. And they have happy hour 30% off rolls!! Read more

Sushi was decent though inconsistent in size and quality from week to week (larger portions of nigiri closer to closing - no... bueno). What I wanted to mention is that after picking up the exact same order for several weeks in a row, they hired a newemployee who completely got my order wrong ? instead of accepting what I said, the manager/owner (older Asian lady who I assumeis) questioned me and the employee in front of me like a judge then begrudgingly fixed it. On my way out, I noticed yet anotherpart of the order was wrong and went back - the owner refused to fix it even those the wrong items were twice the cost of what Iordered. She said they were closing soon (it was really in 45 minutes) and didn?t have time to make it (baked dish that takes15 min) and to come back tomorrow and she would make it ?for free?. She never offered to refund me the difference ($40 for tworolls instead of $17 appetizer that I ordered). She also argued that it?s not a menu item though they made it for me thepreceding week. The initial order came to $200 and I only ordered $75 of items. They brought it down begrudgingly to $100after part of the errors were fixed. This was so disappointing after several okay experiences. I won?t be coming back. Justhope that they don?t mess up your order, or you will have to haggle with them to get it fixed and treated like you?re trying topull a fast one on them. WORD OF ADVICE FOR THE OWNER: THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT, REFUND FOR ANY MISTAKES, DON?TINTERROGATE CUSTOMERS, TRAIN YOUR NEW EMPLOYEES BETTER, AND ESPECIALLY DON?T DRESS THEM DOWN IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS WHEN THEYMAKE MISTAKES. Delicious sushi roll, I had the Red Bird. Pleasant seating outside, where we could have our dog with us. The service was top... notch. Food is a little on the pricey side, but worth the food quality. Read more

Great food and atmosphere. Prices are comparable to other sushi restaurants. Sashimi is delicious and so is the Oyster shooter

I really hoped this would be my new go-to sushi spot, but they need some big help on service. Our waitress was not very... attentive and my request for NO onions on my daughter?s chicken yakisoba somehow turned into ADD onions. She was not very happy. The sushi was average, and for a not-so-busy Sunday evening, the sushi came out very slowly. At least 20 minutes after placingour order. Upon our exit there was no goodbye or thank you. Times are tough on restaurants, but good service is key. Yamakarineeds some work. Read more

I ordered the food here through door dash and it arrived extremely fast (around/within 20 mins). The takoyaki was ok, I didn?t... mind it much. But the popcorn lobster roll and the katsu don were pretty bad. The lobster was extremely bland and somewhatsoggy, and the only good thing was the crab roll it was served on top of. The katsu don was extremely bad. I usually eateverything I?m given, even if it?s bad, because I don?t like wasting money. I had a couple of bites and I was going to save itfor lunch tomorrow, but it was so bad that it came back up. It tasted like it had been in a fridge for a long time andmicrowaved and that the onions were rotten almost. I felt like they just rushed it out. It looks very bad. I don?t like givingone stars because I don?t know what?s going on behind the scenes, and at least the takoyaki was alright. *edit* I found out howto post photos. Here is the dish and here is the proof of purchase. Read more
