Was awesome, now same pattern of lazy management.\n\nMultiple times in a row, ?out of powder? for ice cream. Then write it on... the menu rather than having everyone ask.\n\nWithout the manager, the employees (4 girls today?) are running around, not knowingwhat menu is available, 0 professionalism, grouping and staring at the customers like noone has any idea. Happens frequentlythese days.\n\nWhen someone from the management is there, employees are courteous and things taste great. But I didn?t see thathappen for about a month. A shame. Read more
the interior has such a nice vibe. Love that dine in option where the drinks have great presentation. Surprisingly very busy for... a weekday afternoon. Hibiscus & lavender drink mostly tasted like lavender but it was a nice contrast to pair with the affogatowhich was amazing. I would definitely come back just for that affogato. Read more
March 2022\nExcellent matcha soft serve ice cream! Honestly the best matcha soft serve I\'ve ever had ????. Service was pretty... good, but I think they need to hire more people. There was only one staff member when we visited, and while the guy wasefficient, it still takes a while to make the special drinks.\n\nThe place itself is neat, clean, and open with a few plants fordecoration. There\'s a variety of benches, high chairs, and normal height seating and tables around the place. There are twobathrooms in the back, but I can\'t remember if they\'re unisex or not. There is a hanging divider at the order counter.\n\nThelone staff member was friendly and efficient (and wore a mask). He made sure to give us a napkin and spoon with each of our softserves. Sadly, he didn\'t pile on as much ice cream as they used to at Bon Matcha. Either they\'re changing things up or thestaff need more training/practice. The prices are a little bit lower than Bon Matcha\'s, so it *could* be the formerreason.\n\nInterestingly, they have a rewards program. Great spot to set relax and drink. If you order hot matcha make sure to ask for extra hot as they serve the drink warm. Also get... the delicious almond croissant you want regret. Read more
A good friend of mine recommended this spot to me. SO glad I went. The matcha soft serve is the best in the DMV, their lychee... matcha drink is so good too. My son also loved the soft serve, they have an orange flavor right now (also good) and I was toldthe flavor changes. I really liked the swirl option. Excited to try the next one but highly recommend! My favorite matcha place in DC is now in VA and has a seating area. Very spacious and quiet. Perfect place to hang out and to... work. Their matcha serve is always perfect, but my favorites are Iced Matchacano & Matcha Limeade. We had the matcha swirl soft serve ice cream here - it?s delightful but could have been slightly creamier. The interior design... was also nice and spacious. However, it took a long time waiting for the order to be ready even though I only ordered a conewith the soft serve ice cream. Read more
