Been to this Malaysian Restaurant on several occasions pre-COVID and had the opportunity to chat with the owner, Penny, during... my last visit. I always look forward to coming here if I?m in town but sadly, today?s Prawn Noodle Soup and service level weredisappointing ???? Read more

Great food! Ordered roti canai, which was fantastic. The chicken curry was the highlight. All other dishes were flavorful, good... portions, and worth trying. Look forward to visit again and try other dishes. Read more

I went for a quick solo lunch on a Thursday, and there was only one other group dining in. There were quite a few takeout orders... though. Service was quick and attentive. I ordered the Vegetarian Curry Laksa Noodle Soup with tofu, which was not too spicy, flavorful, rich and full of a variety of perfectly cooked vegetables. I especially loved that their menu has a picture of everyitem, which is so helpful when you have a large menu and many great options to pick from. If I lived closer, I would be aregular here! Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely place! Read more

Malaysian Kopitiam took me back to Kuala Lumpur which was home to me for 3 years and still is one of my favorite places to live... in and best food ever that you can have!! I?ve ordered from here a few times for take away and never disappoints and I wantedto go and have the Fish head curry at the restaurant. The food was amazing!! Authentic and best you can find in the DMVarea. The roti canai, fish purée bean curd, fried rice, fish head curry and salted egg prawns are a few items we had and allwere super tasty!! We will keep returning and also will keep ordering take out too!! Everytime I miss KL will visit MalaysianKopitiam Read more

For the uninitiated they have menus posted on the wall. But if you are familiar with Thai, Malay cuisine is not too distant. The... decor is Chinese Malay. We had a vivacious host take our order. Service was pretty fast. For a Sunday lunch during COVID timethey were pretty but although social distancing and masks are in full force. The Satay proved to be good starter. Megoreng, nasegoreng and the prawn soup carried authentic flavors. Refreshingly Malay! Read more

First time trying Malaysian food and had a great experience with the family. We tried the red snapper which was flavorful and... delicious along with their Koptiam noodle which my son destroyed. The chicken satay had a hint of curry flavorful and adelicious dip which we enjoyed as well. The owners were very nice and there was a ton of people eating there for dinner.Definitely have to come back and try other dishes next time! Read more
