Backyard grill is a cool place to go to they have two bars one in the inside and one on the outside. They also have live music... on Saturdays. They have the best wings and the loaded potatoes were really good. I hear the cheese steak is good and the chickencheese steak is good as well Read more
Went here for lunch on a Monday when they are not so busy. Ordered the salmon with smashed potato and broccoli. Asked about the... size of the fish. The waiter said it’s pretty big! Asked to switch smashed potatoes to sweet potato fries. And this is what Igot: a small piece of salmon. Some boiled green beans with corn and several pieces of sweet potato fries ( 15-20 pieces maybe ).And they put my fries in the lemon sauce which ruined the taste of the fries on the bottom. When I told the waiter I don’tlike my fries in the lemon sauce he did nothing. The green beans tasted like wax. I realized it supposed to be broccoli on myorder and called the waiter over. He suddenly have a short turn memory loss and said it supposed to be mixed veggies. I told himit’s broccoli on the menu. After confirming the menu, he offered to pack a small serving of broccoli to go even though I toldhim I have to leave. Anyway, the salmon with smashed potato and broccoli was $20, they charged me extra $2 bucks for the sweetpotato fries. And $0.77 check out fee, which I never heard before. My table is sticky like other people mentioned. But there’sa man wiping down the table again and again while I was eating, so I figured maybe it’s the paint that is sticky. Overall,I’m not returning. The best restaurant I have ate in the Northern Virginia area. Service and Food never disappoint. Very affordable, very friendly,... and VERY Delicious. If you are traveling or stay around this is a must try restaurant. Even has two bars and a very nice outsidepatio. Dining inside or out is the best experience you can have! Read more
Great spot. Delicious food. Fantastic Service. First time here and we all absolutely loved it. I believe our servers name was... Madison. She was amazing. On top of everything. Very helpful. Talk about a steak fajita! This was three steak fajitas in one... You get what you pay for. The food quality is excellent... upscale bar menu at the Backyard Grill... There was a group of regulars there before happy hour even though it was snowingoutside. I returned for another visit and really enjoyed one of their giant delicious salads. Very tasty. Fresh cold beer andexcellent cocktails abound... I'll have to come back to check out the outdoor patio when the weather gets warm. Can't alwaysfind a good bar with great food. I shall returneth!!
