The food here tasted bland. There were no authentic Mexican flavors. Tacos al pastor did not come with pineapples and toppings... were placed outside even though I did not ask for this. Flauta was extremely crispy and fell apart while eating. Rice tastedlike nothing. Fajita was also bland and had more vegetables than actual meat. Only thing here that saved food was the guacamoleand salsa. Staff is very friendly and attentive but food quality is not what we expected. Their prices are also questionable. Iordered the combination of one taco item and 1 enchilada item and this was cheaper than if I would have bought the 2 tacos alpastor and flauta separately. Read more

A Northern Virginia favorite! I ordered the white chicken enchilada, not too spicy but the accompanying green sauce adds a great... kick. My family friend?s have been going here for years and told me it?s been open for 20+ years and this is there place forbirthdays, and even catered my best friends wedding! Read more

This was our first time at Picante! Excellent and authentic Mexican food, we tried several items off the menu my entire table... enjoyed their entries, I had the steak/shrimp fajita. The restaurant space is big and comfortable. Great drinks and the serversare very nice, top notch customer service everyone works hard and pitches in. The service is extremely quick, variety options onthe menu, the drinks are great, tasty food and the prices are good. Don?t forget the yummy churros and honey for dessert. Highlyrecommend! Read more

Delicious Mexican food & excellent service! We dropped in for lunch on a Friday, just after noon, and had the best enchiladas... and carne asada I've had in a long time. The portions were so big, we each took half our meal home with us. The prices were verygood. The service was friendly and prompt. Read more

This place looked so good from the pictures and reviews so we gave it a try. I asked if they served chicken nachos with queso... cheese since it says "traditional mexican food", and the server said yes. When you order chicken nachos you can choose between 4each starting at 9.50 and then goes up to 8 each for close to $15. I was a little confused, so I asked again if it came withqueso cheese dip on it like regular nachos generally do and she said yes. So I had a bad feeling about it after she walked awayand told my wife I think we ordered 4 nacho chips while trying to be funny. Yep, that's what we got. It was a prettydisappointing experience overall and a let down from our expectations. The chips and salsa was not the best tasting and was alittle bland. The chicken tasted good on top of the chip, but was blown away that I just ordered four nacho chips for $10. Maybeother food options are better. Read more
