I?m very sad to be writing this review as we have had many good outings at Pattaconk. However tonight was extremely... disappointing. We called earlier in the afternoon to see if they were seating on the patio and made a reservation for two and adog. We got there a little late but when I finally talked to one of the servers she said the reservation didn?t matter and toldme, as well as another group of people who had shown up, to go ahead and sit at one of the two open tables. We sit down andproceed to wait. We watch the other group get menus, watch other people sit and also get menus, while the wait staff walked byus as if we weren?t there. I sent my fiancé inside to ask about getting menus/service and he was told they had to find menus.We continue to wait, watch another couple sit and get menus, meanwhile the other group that had gotten there the same time wedid already had all their drinks. Finally the same server I originally talked to comes over and tells us that they?re trying tofigure out who is covering our table. When I reminded her that I told her we had a reservation, and she told me to sit at thetable that was open, she was rude and said she was just coming out to explain the situation. I asked her why she told me to sitthere if no one was assigned to this table and she just told me it wasn?t in her group of tables she was assigned to. She thensaid we could continue to ?go back and forth? or wait for menus, at which time I decided to leave because I couldn?t believe howrude she was being when it was her fault in the first place, and we had some right to be frustrated for sitting there beingignored by the entire staff for at least 20 minutes. Real good, reasonably priced food! I got the red hot and blue dogs which were great, sweet potato fries are awesome too. Our... waitress (who currently has pink hair, I don't remember her name unfortunately) was awesome. great energy and she was quitefunny too. TLDR, Great service, great food, great pricing imo. We stopped in on a busier Friday night for a quick meal. The food was good - just a hamburger and hot dog - and delivered very... quickly. Service was very friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere ( casual ) eating outside. We parked in one of severalparking areas and walked around the restaurant areas. Very glad we found this and will definitely be back. Read more
A warm welcome when we first entered. You can feel the history of this place. A small menu usually means they take pride in... making each dish to perfection, I can say that is true. They have daily specials that will blow you away. The ultimate browniedessert was honestly the best brownie I have ever had, it was almost too much. I don't need another brownie for at least amonth. The staff here have been beyond fantastic. The food is good. The menu is simple but everything is well done. Joe the Bartender... is one of the most friendly and dedicated bartenders I have come across. Try the hotdogs or the spring roll options. They areworth it. While the mug club may seem pricey you are getting way more bang for your bucks if you are a repeat customer. Theyhave a waiting list. While on the waiting list to get a mug you get all the privileges of the rest of the club. Dogs are welcomein the outside seating area. They even have dog bowls for the pups.
