A quiet and low key spot for lunch. The pizza is good with that great crust. The chocolate Cannoli and Black Cherry fountain... soda tops it off for me every time I visit. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is well maintained, and prices are reasonable. Read more
Coming from CT, and having been able to eat at the original Pepe's and Sally's in New Haven, I can honestly say this was a solid... New Haven pie. They weren't especially busy at the time, so I don't know how the service is when it's busy, but the setup iswell thought out and I expect that it could handle a very busy period with ease. The pizza came quickly, and the quality wasexcellent. I've eaten many a pie at places in New Haven that weren't this good. Nice job, Pete's! Read more
Placed an online order for pickup. Didn?t see til I got back home that the bottoms of both my pizzas were completely charred. It... made it very much inedible. I emailed customer service about this seeing if I could get a refund and never heard back. Read more

Awful pizza. Bought the New Haven Clam pizza and it was bone dry & flavorless. The clams were small, rubbery and had no flavor.... The pizza was also stiff as a rock when picked up (see photo). The dough was all crunch, like it had been fried and did not havethe signature chewy texture of good pizza. Called to complain about the order and the manager was very rude, said they wouldissue a credit to us and hung up the phone. Doubtful we'll see that credit or ever want to go back and use it.
