Have been ordering take-out here for years with no issues. Most recent order which I made on Thursday for pick-up Friday was... confirmed by email and prepaid. 12 hours later I receive an email that my order was “failed to be submitted”. I logged inand 2 items appeared to be out of stock and needed to be removed which I did and resubmitted order. 4 hours later I check thewebsite and menu and the item that was listed as out of stock was available so I created a second order. Don’t understand whythe original order was accepted and then not submitted 12 hours later. Be careful when ordering here and watch emails afteracceptance. I picked up the 2 orders with no issues. Food is ok not great not bad. But the takeout process always makes me feel like a criminal - when I am picking up food I paid... for. I showed the person my order number in MY email inbox and she still hid the receipt rudely and asked me to say my name-next time do you want to see my birth certificate too so that I can get food? Do they ask all customers for so much info or justa certain demographic? Pickup at every other restaurant on Wisconsin is pleasant and easy. I also tipped for takeout so feelingmistreated when I pickup food is crazy. Also it’s not just once- literally every pickup order. I never like to write bad reviews as I like to support local businesses but a recent, absolutely terrible experience prompted... this. I had ordered a small takeout order since I was too tired to cook anything and was hoping for a nice simple meal. Not myfirst time here so I expected everything to be straightforward. That was not the case. They had me waiting over an hour for myorder. I had to sit inside their restaurant, being bit by mosquitos and seeing orders that were placed after me beingdelivered. I had asked about my order 3 times to different staff members with the response of "I will check on your order" onlyto get no answer. After I did receive my order, there were no apologies or explanations. The sushi is about average, same asmost other mid-tier sushi place in this city. The worst part was that I was asked to pay before receiving my order and Idecided to tip in advance to support their staff. My mistake... Read more

Food was okay not so great. Worst customer service experience. Server was insisting to put high tip in the electronic payment... system. Personally did not like that. This place is not good for vegetarian and vegan person. Read more

Warm atmosphere with fast service but the food wasn’t tasty. I don’t like the sushi and they didn’t change it or cancel it... after I told them. Absolutely first and last visit. Read more

A consistent favorite for sushi in NW DC. Good happy hour (though sadly reduced this summer), consistent quality and service.... The chicken & pork dumplings are great. Read more

If you go, go for dinner! The dinner menu contains much better dishes and flavors. The lunch menu seemed promising, but it was... nothing special. The salmon was lacking flavor, the salad was tasteless, and the tempura was over fried. However, the price isinexpensive. The sushi is good, but the real deal is the dinner menu. That gets 5 stars.
