I ordered a medium oxtail with sides of rice/peas and cabbage. Of note the cabbage has green peas which I wasn't expecting. This... was my first time seeing these in this style cabbage. I just picked around them. The rice has an all spice or clove taste. Alsonot what I was expecting but still good. The oxtail for a medium size was generous. Price was reasonable. They give you a pagerto notify when order is ready. Small area to dine in if you chose to. They also sell a limited assortment of tropical icecream. I purchased the soursop flavor. It's very creamy. Jerk pork was very salty, steamed vegetables were nice and crisp. Good spot for first time Jamaican food eaters. Inside... decorations are nice & there are many options to choose from on the menu. Just could not get past how salty the pork was. Read more
Got take away. Food is ok for being in US. The woman cashing was petty grumpy/annoyed with life though. It?s like I was in kfc... with that attitude. Took 40 mins for my order to be ready and ppl who ordered after me got their food before which was veryannoying. Got jerk pork, which was a bit over cooked/dry and oxtail w/ peas and rice w/ plantains which was pretty good. Read more
The food is good. Just needs a bit more gravy when you get oxtail and to make sure sauce is added with jerk! Plantains were... good! I had oxtail and curry goat. The portions were big as well. It was super busy on a Saturday (which I understand) butthere may needs to be a more organized way to order/pick up. The wait for our meals was longer than acceptable. But I would goagain. Really good Jamaican at this place. Plenty of outdoor seating and they have grills outside where they cook the chicken. The jerk... sauce is super good and has a kick. The jerk chicken Pattie?s were amazing and so were the vegetable ones. This restaurant hasbeen here for as long as I can remember and can?t wait to come back and get some more patties. This place has me hooked on their jerk chicken that's actually marinated for some days, then broiled on an outside grill ????... ????????. My other favorite is their jerk salmon to die for. Nice little cozy spot in the cut off the main road. If you don'tpay attention you could miss your turn ????????????. They have all the food that a Jamaican carry out should have. Very tasty food. The outdoor seating area is great. They are very busy and it takes 30-40 minutes to get your order. Not sure... why some people complained about the customer service- this is not a 5 star restaurant. Portions are huge and prices are veryreasonable. Read more
Stopped in for an early lunch and had the curry shrimp, roti skin , and beef patty. All were excellent. This place has some... indoor seating but a great outdoor patio by the grill. Read more
