We popped in for lunch, hoping this was going to be fairly quick, we even were ready to order right away just to speed things... up. It was about 1/2- 2/3 full, so it was busy, but no packed. The beer selection was good, even had some rotating seasonalstuff. My wife ordered the jumbo shrimp salad and I got the rockfish, but it took about 40 min to get our food. Fish and shrimpusually don't take long to make, maybe they baked the fish. The wait was worth it as the food was phenomenal, but we were behindschedule and got stuck in the beginnings of rush hour traffic. Not sure what took so long, but it might be good to have a lunchmenu or lunch recommendations. People often want to be in and out pretty quick. Or advise people that certain food may takeawhile. Stoney Creek Inn is one of our new local favorites. Drove by the location for 30 years and never managed to stop in. Now, for... the past 6 months we've been regulars. The food is great with a nice variety and fair prices. Also a small, but well chosenselection of microbrews. But most importantly... some of the best and nicest wait staff we've experienced in a long time. Read more

Come here for a crab cake in a cozy dining room. With the quaint quirky interior, I see what attracted Guy Fieri here in 2008.... While some places that have been on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives lean on that claim to sell a lower quality food. It?s clearthis restaurant cares what they?re putting on their plate. Seated on the picnic tables on the patio, I was very impressed witha list of daily specials indicating a from-scratch kitchen. I chose to stick with an original crab cake and fried scallops. Withbeer battered onion rings and a side salad. The care for their product can clearly be seen in the crab cake. Talk aboutjumbo?lump. You certainly won?t be left wanting for more backfin meat. Huge lumps of it were just held together with theflavorful binder. If you?re feeling extra decadent, try the Smith Island cake homemade by the owners aunt. Great way to wrap upa wonderful meal. A stellar crab cake, kind and attentive staff, in a cozy environment. This place is definitely worth thetrip. Maryland cuisine at its absolute peak. Read more
