Very good breakfast and service. It's always a good time here.
Food was good, however, the staff were busy, and 4 other tables got served their food ahead of ours. My sister was waiting a... while for her toast after receiving the majority of our food. The manager comes over to talk to us and says he'll take her foodoff the bill, which was a nice gesture, which then he taps me on the shoulder and says "but not yours"...whatever. There was noproblem with my meal. As I go up to pay the bill he then proceeds to ask "is there a problem?" Which I say 'No.', and as we'releaving he says to my sister "thanks for coming, next time don't bring him back here". Read more
I've been to the Dover IHOP twice in the past month and both times, I was not disappointed. The food was decent, and the... service was very good, even though it was VERY busy both times. I was most impressed with our one server, Diamond. She was SOvery pleasant and professional and her service was impeccable, even though it was clearly extremely busy and she was busting herbutt to take care of her tables. It was definitely bustling and a little loud (probably because of the time of day we went),since there were lots of families with kids. I don't consider that a bad thing, but if you are looking for a quiet atmosphere,it's probably not the place to go, at least if it is a late breakfast on a Saturday. Service wise, I have not been impressedwith some of the other places in the Dover area so I am happy that the service has been consistently good at this IHOP. Read more
!!DISGUSTING!! There was hair in my waffles not once but twice! First time I asked for a manager and received a new one, after... finishing the new one I saw there was hair on the plate again. Not sure if they need to clean more or make a new batch but I?mdisgusted. First waffle had the hair in the batter, the second waffle had it on the plate under my waffle. Do not come here!???? I ordered chicken & waffles to-go. They have to update their on-line menu pricing (on the website). It's about a $2 difference,... not much but not expected either. The chicken tenders tasted like they were frozen and not properly thawed out before cooking.Waffles were a bit rubbery but decent. The strawberry syrup and butter were great tho ???? I'll stick to my omelets from now on. Read more

This is my third review. I'm done with this ihop the first review I made I complained about the man wiping the table and wiping... all the food on to the chair. A customer was seated and sat right down in the food. About a year later we came back afterhearing about staff and manager changes and it was good. We just went today and I watched the guy wiping the table did one wipeat the edge of the table and that's it. He did not wipe the table fully. When we were seated there was still sticky substanceson the table and what looked like pieces of pancake on the back part of the table by the sugar packets. I told my husband neveragain. I could barely eat my food after that. Not going back. Read more
