I thought it would be a quiet location. Not! The road noise was unbelievable. The walls do not block any sounds at all. Noise... from people in room below and next door, cars on road all night and then unbelievable at 6am the maintenance people runninggasoline leaf blower. Really?? The bed was a big pile of mush. Stayed one night and wish we had more time. Check in was easy and very nice employees at the check in desk. Had a second floor... room and no elevator which was kinda hard on my husband who has had recent hip and knee replacements (not sure if it's mentionedin the hotel description of no elevator). But the stairs had like 6-8 steps so not a lot and was easy to manage. Room is nicesize as was the bathroom. Bed was comfy. Opened up our curtain to a very nice and relaxing view of the pool and golf course andenjoyed sitting on the balcony taking it all in... if I'm ever in the area again, I will most definitely stay here Read more
I always try to stay at singing hills rather than stay at the actual sequan resort. It's a very nice resort the rooms are... fabulous I was put in a room that actually had a separate bedroom that was really nice right on the golf course and right by theswimming pool I will try to get this location when I stay here again it was so nice linens are always very clean and neatly putaway. My friend and I took a walk on the golf course late at night and it was so peaceful and the weather was perfect it reallywas a nice time. Highly recommended. Read more
Don't play here!!! The course was in terrible shape. The round was 6 hours!! There was always two to three groups just sitting... on the tee box. They also made a mistake with our tee times and didn't cancel one on Sunday that I had asked them to cancel sothey charged me $380 and told me they couldn't give me a refund. I'm not a big reviewer but I would say DONT play here becausethey literally stole $380 from me and they could do it to you to. There are plenty of other courses around the area that you canplay at. 4.5 stars. We are very particular with hotels. So grateful we found this place! Great value. A bit older facility but very well... kept, nice and big rooms. Great customer service at front desk and housekeeping. The only issue was the bed sagged in the middleand for that I cannot give 5 stars. Also, They need to find a way to vacuum between the bed and the wall. Read more
They left our trash in the room for three days. Did not replenish cups. When asked for room service they just left the towels... inside the door. It?s $100. A day deposit, not your entire stay. Very poor hospitality. There is no parking for guests bythe restaurant. When we wanted lunch there was a tournament and the manager said go back to your room. Take a golf cart. Weare fully dressed for a wedding rehearsal day. Hot day I told him we were at the farthest end on the property. The golfworker would have hit our car as we were slowly backing up. They drive too fast. Don?t want to risk a bad driver!! Very verypoor maid service!!!! 2nd worst hotel experience in my life. don?t stay there. Our neighbors said they had to clean thefilters in the room. The day we insisted on cleaning our room after 3 days of trash the maid had the tv on and changed our airtemp to 60 degrees. Room was cold. Terrible place. It would be better to drive in from somewhere like the Jamul casino . The food manager at the restaurant could have done better. We had no lunch . No food was delivered. Bad place. Also Ithink my glasses by the bed went missing . I?m not 100 per cent sure but I will report if one of the maids took myprescription glasses for a child. Not only can you play golf at one of San Diego's top rated golf courses you can stay in a fabulous room that has all the... comforts of home and then in the evening for a spectacular night you can head over to the Sycuan casino and catch a concert orhave an amazing dinner in one of the spectacular restaurants! Or dine in your room! I'm always impressed by the friendly staffand ever accommodating management.
