Haven't eaten the meal yet, but quite disappointed already. There are items on the menu that you can have either fries or a... loaded baked potato. So, I wanted to order the fish & chips and wanted a loaded baked potato instead of fries. (The fish &chips was $1 less that another item you could have a choice of fries or baked potato) Was told wasn't possible to have bakedpotato instead of fries with my order. I asked if there is a difference in price between baked potato and fries I could justpay the difference and get baked potato instead. The waitress said no. What the heck!! So much for customer service. Date ofexperience 10/25 4:30pm. I would have left if my guest wasn't so hungry and didn't feel like looking for another restaurant.Won't be back. Read more
Best ribeye steak I ever had at a restaurant. Huge portions, great cocktails, excellent service and good music ????
Beautiful 16oz ribeye. Their website advertises $3.75 bloody Marys 8 to 6pm, they charged $4.75. Not cool. And no prices of beer... on menu...we were there during happy hour, menu just said $1 off....so didnt order any more drinks, cause usually when theresno price is when you get burned... and I'm not gonna ask the price of a beer....Later come to find out, domestic drafts $3.00during happy hour. Delicious!!! The breakfast tacos come with 2 for only $3.50 and WOW. - the tortilla tastes homemade and amazing, the salsa is so... flavorful and the taco was perfect with a combo of eggs, cheese, sausage, papas, tomato and cilantro. We loved it so much thatwe came back the next morning too! Get there by 11am though or you?ll miss out! ???? *** Update*** another trip to Del Mar andwe stayed right by Mr Peabodys but the tacos weren?t as great as before. It tasted like mostly eggs and could barely taste thesausage or hash browns. Salsa seemed touch and go, not as flavorful as before. Still great for the price though. Service wasamazing. We came back in the evening for dessert and had the mocha ice cream cake, which was just ok. The live music was awesome- such a cool vibe. We also tried happy hour ribs and those were the best! If you want to drink beer and listen to live music this is good spot for that. Food is good especially their baked potatoe and... the salad that comes with the fish and chips. I wish their appetizers menu was bigger. Read more
The food is always good but tonight?s service was lacking. She didn?t offer menus, and then took a long time to take our... orders. We didn?t order fries but we charged for them. We had to request mustard several times, and finally got it from anotherserver. She served mixed drinks full of ice and probably not more than a few tablespoons of liquid. When I requested anotherdrink without ice she brought it 2/3 empty! On top of it I came intending to sit in with the jazz band as I have many timespreviously. However, the keyboard player told me to come back another time, and made a comment that all the players are fulltime pros. Well, that was unexpected. Live music was great! Fun atmosphere! Food was delicious!! Big portions! The buffalo Mac and cheese was too die for!! I got... their burger, had to build it myself, but it was good! Nice wait staff! Highly recommend! Would come again! Read more
Peabody?s has amazing food! Breakfast, lunch, dinner selections are ample servings. The vibe is chill, great seating inside or... out. Entertainment is fun to watch/ listen. An Encinitas local classic! Read more
