So rarely do I feel like taking the time to leave a review on a restaurant, but the fish & chips I was served goes down in... history as the worst I've ever had. Tasteless, unseasoned, bland, and undercooked.. Not anywhere close to golden brown. I don'tknow how you look at something like that and deem it fit to serve. The fries were barely warm and not even close to done. Thesauce they served for the dish was unacceptably bad. This place wasn't even busy. I hate leaving negative reviews but just wow.The only reason I give more than one star is the service was on point! Nice people. Read more

I was visiting a friend on Whidbey Island and we were looking for a casual brunch spot before further adventures. Upon entering,... it was highly disorganized and the restaurant was clearly understaffed. Water was not offered until after I asked three staffmembers. The food arrived about 45 minutes after we had sat down and was decent diner quality. Unfortunately, both my friend andI were vomiting shortly after the meal. I would not recommend this establishment unless your stomach is made of steel. Read more

Bacon on the BLT was great but they were very skimpy on the tomato(three thin slices on the whole $15 sandwich). Beans in the... chili were either cooked until they were hard or weren't cooked enough. Amazing pancakes, amazing bacon and most of the staffwas really friendly :) Read more

They didn't update the working hours and we were asked to return. Please add the details to map. Update: Owner responded back... saying that they were trying to be helpful, which was right. But the fact remains the map is still not showing their operatinghours. If they can update that information in Google maps that will be super helpful and customers can save a trip after theirclosing hours. Read more

Dog friendly! We called ahead and they said they welcomed dogs of all sizes. The patio had two long tables with umbrellas and a... 3 or 4 smaller tables, I think all also with umbrellas. It seemed like everyone had a small dog! Our puppy was so happy. One ofthe hosts brought out a house-baked dog biscuit that puppy loved. The host said that "all dogs are treated equally". Which weloved. The food was good, I loved the bacon. Read more

I think maybe the wait staff and the kitchen were having communication issues when we did a family breakfast in their lovely... outdoor seating area because their attitudes were all over the place. At one point I got yelled at for not knowing what else Iwould order when they told me my first choice was no longer an option and they didn't have time to return my menu, at anotherpoint the waitress was happily chatting with us about her kayaking adventures. A bit of a roller coaster with similar snippyincidents then sweet chatter during the whole meal, and our group heard staff complaining about eachother as we went in to usethe restroom. The food was okay and the fenced patio with large wooden tables is really an enjoyable seating area, but theservice drama spill-over would keep me from returning. The toddler in our group had a lot of room to explore- it is a goodlocation for youngsters to eat during a family outing. Read more
