We, at the last minute, made a change to this restaurant over our original anniversary plans. So happy that we did! Food was top... notch. Server was amazing and attentive but too overbearing. Atmosphere was great and just the right amount a classy. We had thesteak topped with crab meat and I was throughly impressed. As well as the wild mushroom ravioli! The inside is very lavish and pleasing to the eye and the food matching however lacks in flavor. The portion size dose not add... up with the prices even when considering the recent price raises. I think people have been review this place in regards to itslooks and not the true taste of the food. The little food you get for the high prices is quality but not worth the time andmoney. Tonight was our second time dining at the Side Door, and it did not disappoint. Huge portions, incredible food, and delicious... cocktails. Our family recently made reservations to celebrate my wife Laureen's birthday. Our server was prompt, courteous and friendly.... Our party of 7 ordered from the menu and waiter's suggestions. The food presentation was very nice. A nice touch to the diningexperience was the "Happy Birthday" wishes written in chalk on the concrete outside of the entrance. The best dining experience. Everyone was so pleasant and James our waiter was amazing! The food was excellent so many specials... and so many choices. I can't wait to come back. The restaurant has a good vibe nice atmosphere. Even the bathrooms are cleanhave a vintage vibe with chalkboard and chalk for messages. Cute! Portions are generous and prices are fair. I recommend this place to every lover of good food and awesome atmosphere. This is one of the best restaurants in Oregon in my... opinion. Food is very delicious. Service is very quick and polite.
