For the price of the food the atmosphere doesn't add up. The food is good and the service is a bit slow but attentive. I would... not recommend sitting near the entrance unless you want to sit close to the kitchen and bathrooms, and the very loud soundspeaker above your head. The staff was very nice to help us move over, when we did I could feel my ears ringing. So the volumecould be turned down a tad. The sparkling water was a great touch. We tried Born and Raised for the first time, needless to say we were blown away by this experience. Everything from the drinks,... the service, the appetizers, to the main and dessert was phenomenal. The server was great, the restaurant atmosphere was darkyet warm and very modern. We had the oysters and spicy Brussels for our appetizer and they were amazing. I would highlyrecommend you try this place if you are in the Hamilton area or if you are exploring the downtown scene. Read more
The BEST Calabrese pizza I have ever had!!! This place has fantastic food. We stopped in randomly looking for a bite to eat and... so happy that we did. The owner found us a table even thought it was pretty packed on a Friday night. The owner was extremelyfriendly and service was quick. Came here on a last minute reservation at 9pm and the place was still full of energy! I heard this was one of the best... restaurants in hamilton and it did not let down! The prices are fair for the size and quality of the dishes. We tried themushroom gnocchi and seared scallops which melted in my mouth, will definitely be coming back just for these plates! Read more
Freaking delicious place to dine - don't be fooled by the online table booking app, there's also seating available at the bar,... so they may be able to squeeze you in without a reservation. It was also a little tricky to find the right entrance - it'sthrough the patio and not very obvious. Food was definitely worth persisting. The steak on a bed of broccolini was huge andprobably meant for two people to share, but I ate it all. Prepared with more salt and rub than I'm used to, but still enjoyedit.
