5 of us dined on a Thursday evening...reservations honoured immediately, our table was marked w a small label (1st names). Apps... included bruschetta (see photo - 2 lg pieces per order - we doubled), & calamari (2 sauces). Both were served together and weredelicious! Mains included tagliatelle ragu (outstanding, very filling - see photo), triangoli, two salads (Nero and DellaNonna), and a beautiful example of a wood fired pizza (photo), the San Pietro! The $45 Chianti Classico was wonderful for theprice point. Wine list is extensive, several more costly items available. We finished with the Small Board dessert tray (photo -Nodini friti, Sicilian cannoli, and Tiramisu). Shared by 4 of us (I did not have the capacity), all items were savoury and aperfect ending to our meal. Note metered parking is limited in the area, we found a spot on a neighbouring street, but beprepared for a short walk. I will return to try the pizza alone (I had the tagliatelle)... Ordered from uber and had pizza and cannoli delivered. The pizza was traditional light fluffy crust. The mushrooms were sautéed... and it was delicious. I am saving the cannoli for tonight. We will have to go and have supper in person to see what therestaurant is like. Read more
High quality Italian spot that's up there with the best in the city. Service was great and the food was delicious. The gnocchi... was some of the best I've had and the dessert platters were incredible. Read more
I came here for my birthday and it was simply amazing. Their bread is soft and delicious, the pizza and pastas are all super... fresh. The vibes there were old school Italian and immaculate, this is the place to go if you want Italian in Hamilton. Welldone to the owner and staff, all super nice and informative. Castelli Cucina take out , does not disappoint. The quality of all the food I’ve tried is amazing . The Diavoli pizza is my... favourite and was made to perfection. The Arancini was amazing the perfect amount of rice , meat and cheese I only wish I hadmore marina which is Ah mazing. The Bruchetta made on home made focaccia and the perfect amount of extremely fresh tomatoes andonions and parm cheese . Can’t wait to patio season to enjoy table service . See u soon Read more
I was so excited to dine here as I’d been following Castelli on Instagram for a while now - it surpassed expectations.... Everything was amazing. We got the calamari (pretty standard), clams, salsicce e funghi pizza, risotto with scallops, crown ditartuffo and the veal parmigiano. Words can’t express how delicious everything was. Delicious Italian food - both the pizza and our entrees were excellent and we took home two sweet cannolis. The restaurant... interior also had a very nice aesthetic and our server was great. I would recommend making reservations as soon as you can! Read more
First time there. My wife had the pizza which was scrumptious and I had the bolognese that was fantastic. Service was amazing.... The server checked on us frequently and she was super friendly and engaging. Loved the pizza oven out front. Read more
