Fred?s location overlooking the ocean is wonderful. It?s relaxing and at the same time it?s energizing watching all the activity... downtown and on the Huntington Beach pier. The Mexican food is classic Mexican food and also lots of plant- based healthfood. Our favorites are the guacamole and chips , fajitas and the tacos. So this is my review of this place. 1. Service 7/10 (she forgot twice our drinks and utensils when we got our food. But she had... a good smile and tried hard) 2. Decoration 8/10 (nice place typical from Huntington Beach) 3. Food 9/10 (so the food and drinksare very good and very tasty ????) 4. Cleanest 7/10 ( the restroom where okay but could be better. Don?t let ?Fred? fool you?this place is well worth the experience. The view of the beach is amazing! They have lots of seating... along the balcony as well as a fairly spacious indoor dining area. The decor is Mexi-Cali with surfer vibes and a mildlyobscene fountain by the hostess. The drinks were good. The chips and salsa were delicious. The queso was outstanding! Read more

It was a good burrito however it was a little too salty. The churros were way too oily. They accidentally gave us chicken... instead of beef which we ordered but server didn?t check on us so we couldn?t switch it back until we were ready to go. Theygave us a small comp. We went for breakfast which was pretty good. I probably won?t go back for dinner but will go back forbreakfast. Great outdoor seating. Read more

This is our favorite spot to get drinks and dine. We have a total of 6 children blended and we had brought 5 of 6 but today we... brought my youngest to experience the food and ambiance.
