Friendly waiter. But I surprised how small the burger was for the $17 charge. I chose the 50 Alarm Burger. Was definitely... spicy! No complaints about that. Didn't come with fries or anything else. I ordered onion rings separately. They gave me six.Somewhat disappointing. My mistake was thinking the portion sizes would be large enough to split with my friend. If you'rehungry, definitely don't do like I did. You'll want one to yourself. Might go there again. Hard to say. I know we're allsuffering from inflation but for the money, there's other options. Nice place overall. Food was tasty. Service was good. Buthaving a hard time (maybe it's just me) over the price to food quantity ratio. They do appear to have some unique food choices.Don't let me frighten you away. You may love it there. Read more
Absolutely fantastic meal !! Marcy our waitress was beyond nice and very helpful, Fastest service in the West! We tried the... vampire dip which is cheese and garlic wonderful Stuff. It was also interesting that they had a painting class going on &didn't interfere with the meals at all, very fun experience thank you. Read more
We had a great lunch here. My wife had the turkey lettuce wrap, and she liked it a lot. She really like the fries and wants to... come back for the loaded fries on the menu. I had the bacon burger, it was so good with thick cut bacon. Our server was busybut did a good job as well. We can't wait for the new place in Torrance to open, much closer to home. The Best Burger I've had in a long time! Place was busy, early on a Friday night. Burger came quick with a knife stuck in it,... like the painting on the wall. I got "The best damn bacon cheeseburger" with thick bacon and sweet potato fries. It was divine.I really dug in. Warm, good tasty meat, and a yellow dipping concoction for the fries. All good. Only downside was that Slater's50/50 apparently attracts families with toddlers and infants. Some screaming. Almost took off a star, but the food and servicewere so good, I put it back on. They have a pool table too. Reminds me of Kisses restaurant, Rockin' Brews, except with no Rockand great food! Very nicely done as a burger joint/restaurant. Hosts were top notch. I will be back. This place is always good. It has a fun atmosphere. The service is good. They are dog friendly and even have a doggy menu. They... got new owners recently from what I hear and sometimes thats what you need to get the level of service you deserve. The parkingis a little funky, but I never seem to have any problems finding a decent spot. They have a pool table now and are open tosuggestions on how to improve. If you're simply visiting the area looking for a fun atmosphere or it's been a while and you missthe signature burgers, they still have those and even some improvements. I had the PB & Jellousy w/ tots a Mai Tai this timethen a Rum & Cranberry I don't have a picture of. The PB & Jellousy is delicious but a little heavy for my normal eating habits.I'm sure it's amazing if you're a little hammered or have the munchies, if you know what I mean????. Read more
This is not your regular burger. My dining companions and I found ourselves in near heaven while eating our meal. It would be... better to describe it as an experience for the taste buds. The staff is very friendly. The food is delicious. There are many TVscreens so you can watch any sport that's playing. I always have a good time when I am here. My friends also enjoyed it. It wastheir first time but they will definitely be returning. Gotta try the Vampire Dip! A very enjoyable time! Read more
Awesome food, came out quickly and was very good but waiter never asked if we wanted drinks and disappeared for awhile. Also,... music was so loud, I felt like my ears were ringing the whole time. I will definitely eat at Slater's again but maybe try adifferent location. Read more
