I have friends that come here regularly, so I had to give this place a try. I have been here before but years ago so I was not... quite familiar with The Corner. Upon walking it, it's stale as can be. Bland colors, no warmth about the place. We took a sit inthe bar area that lacked even more luster, if that was possible. I ordered a margarita off their specialty menu, while my dateordered a salty dog with gin. Both were incredibly strong and very sour tasting. I was one and done, while my date ordered a tapbeer instead. When the food came out, I was expecting more gastro pub type of food yet got more of a sports bar feel type offood. Bill was $85 for 3 drinks and 3 dishes, which is fair for a night out. However, after this experience and a rough night ofsleeping with the heaviness of the food, I will not be spending my money here again. Absolutely amazing! This was my first time visiting and I will definitely be returning. I loved everything from the appetizers... to the main course and drinks. The 48 hour fries were simply mouthwatering and the tuna tartare tostadas delectable. Highlyrecommend! Read more
