This was one of the only places in the area (aside from fast food) that had an open Kitchen at 10pm so I really appreciated... that? however my meal was mediocre at best. I got the fish of the day (Mahi) grilled and it was very veryyy dry with RAW garlicon top. So much raw garlic ???? it was hard to eat. Almost made me wish I just got fast food instead of paying $27 (includingtip) for something I had to force myself to eat. I did appreciate that they let me sub a basic side salad instead of the macsalad they typically do all over the island which I?m not a fan of. Maybe I should have stuck to the Oxtail or something fried?Seems to be what most people enjoy here. Read more
First time eating Chubby?s Diner and it did not disappoint! My order: 1. Furikake fries: the best furikake fries I?ve had so... far! Absolutely delicious and perfectly seasoned. Portion was huge!! Furikake was not just dumped onto fries, it was moreembedded into the outside of the fries and didn?t just fall off like it was sprinkled afterwards. 2. Oriental Chicken saladwith balsamic vinaigrette: the teriyaki chicken was flavorful and had the perfect amount of teriyaki. Didn?t think it wasoverwhelming and the romaine was crunchy. Absolutely loved the balsamic dressing, wondering if this is made in house perhaps?They gave me the right amount of dressing on the side so I could control how much was put on which was a nice touch. 3. KoreanChicken wings with hapa rice and mac salad: crunchy and delicious! Mac salad was top notch too. Gave us a solid amount of wingsfor price.
