My new fave - Punjab Sweets! The sweets are not overly sugary (my son is like "how is that an Indian sweet, then??"), everything... made from scratch, samosas fried right when you order them, very friendly and efficient service. Apparently people from all overthe country turn up to buy their food! Check 'em out! Read more

I travel for business to Seattle several times per year. Whenever I do, I love to eat at Punjab Sweets of Kent. This is a family... owned restaurant where the owners them selves cook all of the food. The food is like home cooked and nothing has ever been overspicy. Everything I have eaten here has been very good. One of my pet peeves is leaving an Indian restaurant stinking likecurry. Here everything is fresh and there is no odor. I can wear my best clothes without worrying about how I smell afterwards.Everything is very clean here and the decor is pleasing and relaxing. If you like Indian sweets they have a large selection offreshly prepared delights. I highly recommend this lovely delicious restaurant. FYI everything is 100% vegetarian but you won?teven miss the meat. Bon appétit Read more

I am giving Punjab Sweets a 1 star because the Shahi Paneer and Kofta that we ordered was inedible. Both reeked of butter and... floated in it, and there was no flavor in either dishes and we had to just throw it away to our utter dismay as we don?t takethrowing away food lightly. It?s outrageous that they served that in the name of food and we?ve never had anything like that inour 23 years of eating out in Seattle. The samosa chaat we ordered was good. We went there especially to pick up samosas to taketo a party and samosa chaat for ourselves. The jalebis were decent too. But the entrees have left us skeptical if we?ll ever goback there ever again. Read more
