I got to get a taste of their theater and dinner combo. Food was not that great, over-priced. I’d recommend coming in not to... eat but for the theater experience, it’s nice to ask for different orders of popcorn from a waiter with the push of a button.Other than that…not as fancy as I expected I guess. I have come to the lot for many years and I have to say that it is always the best movie experience. This time I had a problem... with the website and accidentally purchased two sets of tickets. When I realized I went up to the front desk and asked for arefund and the nice ladies really helped me out! I was able to get my refund and not have to pay for two sets of tickets. October 5th my family and I had lunch and watched a movie. I've been to this location plenty of time, but unfortunately that day... was my last. Normally the dishes are clean, Before I noticed a lipstick ring around my glass, I had already taken 2 sips fromthe dirty glass...I dont wear make-up so it wasn't from me. When I Informed our waiter he just took glass fast and didntapologize for the dirtiness... I didn't have time to take a pictures of the glass.. The next morning October 6th I woke up witha sore throat that I am treating til this day with a bad cough... I was perfectly fine before putting my lips on that filth...Now I'm missing out on work and money because I'm sick... First time trying The Lot and don't think I'll be back. Arrived 15 mins early so we could get in our seats, get a drink, have an... app, etc. The theatre is practically empty. No server came by until 10mins into the movie & he was more concerned about hisshift ending soon. $15 for a pretzel. A pretzel. And $18 for spinach dip. We went to see a movie for the first time since covid. It felt safe and was not crowded. I am handicapped and got special... handicapped seats so I did not have to climb stairs. I did not like having to pay a service fee when I got the tickets. Thatseems like a sneaky way to charge more. They do have a senior rate. But it could be lower. I love THE LOT! I’ve been to the La Jolla location, as well as the Liberty Station location on numerous occasions, and I’ll... first start by saying the food is delicious! I love how comfortable the seats are, and love the fact that you’re not in anoverly packed theater. The temperature is nice and cool, but not too cold. The service is excellent with having food and drinksbrought to your cozy reclining chair, and the overall theater is more of an experience than just going to see a movie. There’srestaurants at both locations, and I love the fact that you can hang out for happy hour, sit down to eat, or just simply gowatch a movie with really good popcorn options. The prices are what they are, but I enjoy having a nicer “experience” overbeing crammed in a tiny seat with sticky who knows what under or on your seat. THE LOT is a must! Read more
Food was pretty good. There was audio problems with the movie. Management had us leave our info to get complimentary tickets to... another show. Then they never communicated by email or phone. Nice concept, but unfortunately, was left underwhelmed. Read more
