Food was good. Some dishes were far better than others. The service was very friendly but not great. They seemed very... understaffed. A couple of our dishes came out cold and one order was forgotten. We had ordered several appetizers that didn'tcome out until after we were done with our meal. It was a nice atmosphere and the waiter did the best he could but it seemedmore like they had just opened for the first time, as opposed to being an established restaurant in the area. Read more
WARNING: They have really changed the menu and the prices are up and staff is down. That said the staff is doing the best they... can with what they've got and the parking lot patio is still great. Just be aware going in that this is not the place you willremember. Luciano is a real loss. Will be back, the just not as much as before, probably. Which will be fine-if you're in townas a tourist this will be a great place for you for dinner. Or if you're part of the "let's make Laguna Santa Monica" set.Recommend the lobster ravioli but wish it were plated on a plate instead of in a bowl. We went there for valentines and it was lovely. They have a nice patio with a peaceful view of ocean sunset! For sure you can... find other restaurants with better view but everything here was good. The waiter was so friendly and helpful. Good red wines.And good foods. We ordered fettuccine with shrimp and chicken. It is not really fancy restaurant but fir what you pay it wasgood. I definitely recommend it. For two with two glass of wine and 20% tip, 95 bucks! Read more

The Oceanview outdoor dining experience was so fun at this restaurant. My client chose to come here to celebrate The purchase of... his new home. Was surprised upon our arrival inside the restaurant as they had us follow them outside up a paved road to a rooftop restaurant.... It was a unique experience with somewhat nice views of the ocean. I will say that the service was spectacular from an authenticItalian server, possibly Sicilian. Wine suggestion was magnificent but my expectations were high after he was raving on and onabout the dishes being the best there is in town. They weren't bad but definitely not something to write home about. I stilltipped him very well due to his enthusiasm and positive attitude. Read more
