Awesome food good service decent atmosphere
I was disappointed in this particular mimi's Cafe. Please observe the pictures I took of my roasted half chicken. Now my spinach... and my broccoli were good. I also had a garden salad without the croutons with a balsamic vinaigrette. I have eaten at othercafes in other states and never had this issue before. My chicken was very undercooked to the point when I separated the legfrom the breast blood poured all over my plate. My father had the same dish except he had broccoli and string beans as his twosides. His chicken was overcooked. I did not take a picture of his food. I did not make a scene I only ate what I could I hopeI don't get sick. I did take a big risk and ate some of the uncooked chicken. Restaurant was virtually empty at 9:30 am.. We were greeted and asked to wait while a table was readied. It took awhile. A... second staff greeted us and repeated the questions the first staff asked. The original staff finally returned and seated us. Service was even slower. Our server was attentive but food service didn't improve. Food was simple but satisfying. Food is good, and staff is friendly. When it comes to cleanliness this restaurant does not score well. The bathrooms are a mess... and filthy. There are flies flying inside - this could be a major problem with quality of food coming out of the kitchen.Furniture is not in its best condition. Would not stop by this location again, but that doesn't mean all Mimi's Cafe are in thesame condition. They have good mimosas- not too bitter, not too sweet. Read more
Always great, basic American food. I always enjoy their tomato bisque soup and their quiches. I ordered the shrimp penne pasta... in a tomato cream sauce. It was good. Can?t go wrong with their burgers. Can?t forget their muffins!!! I love their carrotmuffins!!!! They are to die for!!! Customer service was great. Loved our waiter. Too bad I didn?t catch his name. We went there for my birthday, with my husband, I ate ham Benedictines with fruit and a pumpkin latte, my husband ate BLT... omelette with a regular coffee. Food was great, the potatoes were a little dry and the muffin bread for my Benedictines wasgrassy. But delicious ????. Oh, btw I got my free birthday dessert, one plus from joining online. Read more
