Was craving some loco moco & decided to hit up L&L. I got the mini loco moco with egg whites & came with a side of Mac salad.... Idk if the meat got dry cause I didn't eat it right away. When I finally got home after an hour the meat was a little dry. Thegravy is good & the rice was good too. The Mac salad wasn't bad. Overall it was pretty good. I really love the food here and haven't had an issue before tonight, so I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 1. Your front counter... girls could use a lesson in customer service, they were incredibly rude when I picked up my food and were laughing at an honestmistake when I was walking out. I do not want to feel uncomfortable while picking up food from a restaurant, particularly fromthe front staff. Again, I love your food, it's absolutely amazing and I've had awesome experiences every other time I've gonein, but the two working tonight need to take a class on manners or something. I used to go to L&L all the time while growing up in Hawaii, and sadly this is not the same. While standing in line to order, I... noticed many of the tables, as we as the floor, were dirty. The decor is really trying with the pictures of Hawaii and huladancers on the wall and the fake palm tree by the door. I was excited to see Hawaiian canned drinks in the fridge by theregister, but when we opened them to drink, they were warm. The food was alright but a bit lacking in flavor. None of the sideveggies were seasoned. My girls weren't a fan of the chicken katsu but that's just a personal preference. Read more

Quick little fast food i suppose i can call it, but this was my first time attempting a Hawaiian restaurant and i saw online the... katsu chicken looked good and a fan favorite. So this is the full katsu chicken size, comes with white rice as you can see and asmall cup of macaroni salad. The chicken was amazing! I dont know what it is but ive had fried chicken before but nothing likethis. I couldn't finish the rice because of how good the chicken was and the portion was pretty large ended up bloated afterthis. Fair price for this amount. The salad was pretty good too and tasted fresh unlike other fast food places.
