like a lot of other reviews, i have mixed feelings about this place, but was overall satisfied with my experience. the wait was... pretty long, but to be fair it was decently busy. when the food arrived, my sister's wings definitely could've been hotter(temperature wise), and i ordered my fries on the side but also got some in my sandwich. that wasn't a big deal as i couldeasily take them off, but i also ordered my coleslaw on the side and didn't receive a fork to eat it with. thankfully, thewaitress was super nice and got me one quickly. the only other complaint i have is that the bread was pretty soggy. i wish itwould have been toasted a bit more to prevent that from happening. plus, when i order a sandwich toasted i usually expect thebread to be at least a little crispy. still, the contents of the sandwich tasted great and it was a decent size too, the frieswere good, and the coleslaw was not what i was expecting but still tasted fine and was clearly fresh. so all in all, it wasnothing too special (except for the waitress being very nice) but i still enjoyed my food and walked away satisfied. therestaurant also just has a laid back vibe and i had a lot of fun eating and joking with my family. i would most likely come backif the opportunity arose and try some other menu items to see how they compare to what i got (the "when pigs fly" sandwhich). So I was really excited about trying their "almost famous" sandwich with the fries on it. Unfortunately, it did not meet... expectations. The bread was not soft and seemed to be falling apart...maybe not fresh? I thought maybe they should grill it? The sandwich did not have enough sauce. Felt dry to me. Fries were not crispy. I spoke to a friend who loves these and perhapsI just caught them on a bad day. The place itself was clean and inviting. I sat at the bar. The bartender was attentive andfriendly. Lots of gumption calling this a "tall boy" don sandwich. I get that I asked for fries and slaw on the side but are you serious... that your sandwiches rely that much on the fillers? 2 tomatoes. 2 pepperoni, and I guess capicolla?? Wow. Called the team overand expressed our disappointment with this as well as the "extra" bacon we paid for that manifested as 1 piece (2 total pieces)on my wife's sandwich which was already described as having it. We finally got satisfaction in a remade sandwich and a separateside of bacon coming out. Not the bartenders fault and she was very good the whole way through, but not sure about coming backhere in general all the same. We'd come before and the sandwiches were at least average but never what we're seeing on otherreviews. Pretty big swing in quality. The fried pickels and motzz wedges were good. Love this place! It can get pretty busy but the food is worth the wait. The service is very friendly and prices are reasonable.... I can't get enough of the pizza! Tuesday and Thursday are fantastic nights for pizza deals. Sunday and Monday are awesome forwings. Nice date night place. tonight we wanted have some drinks and light bar food. We tried a place for the first time, called Primanti Bros Restaurant in... Lancaster, PA. Been here a few times. The Hot ranch wings weren’t bad. Also got the Capone sandwich on my most recent visit. Sandwich was... okay. I wish they would put some kind of oil or a mayo on (I know I can ask, I just want the classics the standard way, howthey’re supposed to be) Service every time I’ve been here has been under par.
