Came Across This Spot Just Looking For An Authentic Mexican Food & It?s Just That! Small, Local Hidden Gem, & the Owner ( I... believe that?s who she was ) Is Really a sweet lady! Now the Review. While The Food Is Really Good ( grilled chicken tacos ,fresh plantains ( you can taste the actual plantain ) rice & whatever my co worker got lol ); However The Prices / Portionsdon?t match & are inconsistent. I got a side of rice one day which was a good portion & the next day I got half a portion in acup.. I?ll pay for extra sour cream & only get one & the sauce cup is barley full ( 2 days in a row ).. My co worker paid forextra cheese & didn?t get it 2 days in a row? that?s really something to work on when charging $85¢ for extras. On another notethe sauce bar is really good & they?re all fresh!! Good food though it was over $15 for 3 tacos. It took a while before food came at lunch time
Always love their food! I always get the loaded vegetable tacos, which come with actual vegetables (carrots, zucchini,... cauliflower, mushrooms) and rice. I got 3 this day and portion sizes are great! Just delicious, and their chips are always nicetoo! I haven?t tried their meat options, but I?m sure those are good too. Definitely worth a visit! ???? Yummy tacos in an authentic atmosphere. I?ve travelled to Mexico several times, and walking into this place transported me back.... Very basic but colorful restaurant serving a limited but authentic menu? quickly! And the place was busy, which is another goodsign. We ordered take out and took it across the street to the park to eat. We got tacos and chips and salsa - pollo, asada, andal pastor - all came on double corn tortillas with white onion and cilantro, exactly like Mexico. Also like Mexico, theseasoning was minimal, except for the al pastor. We tried each variety with and without the various salsas available (more thanhalf a dozen fresh salsas on offer!). Steak was tough, but nicely fatty. Al pastor was the best one. Salsas were tasty withchips, but they gave us just 8 chips per person. ???? More chips next time, please!
