I am very late in posting this review but better late than never! I had my baby shower at Pickle Barrel's banquet facilities on... Oct 24th, 2021. The day was absolutely seamless! Jay and Brian ensured that everything was absolutely perfect for me. Myguests were all amazed by the food and service and decor and several had inquired about doing an event here in the future. Thefood was so good that my mouth waters even now. I have never ever heard so many people rave about food at an event like this! If you want to sit back and actually enjoy your event and know that every last tiny detail is being taken care of then I highlyrecommend this venue. The staff were all so willing to help and serve and make this a day to remember. Thank you so much formaking my classy Halloween themed baby shower an event to remember. I don?t know why the google review score is only 3. I would highly recommend this restaurant, as I myself came twice in one... week. Relaxed music, polite and attentive server, especially Silvia T. She?s definitely a sweet angle for our birthdaydinner. Each dish won?t disappoint you. We do enjoy food and relaxing time here. Read more

I came in on my own today and Deena was quick to greet me at the bar and ask for my drink. I ordered a white wine sangria and... told her I had a few fruit allergies. She was very careful while making the drink and even cut me some fresh fruit. I orderedthe grilled cheese and she suggested the house made tomato soup as it was her favourite. She is a great conversationalist and Ienjoyed the company. Will definitely be back to this location. Read more
Excellent lunch with parents March 9.its been a long past few years and we returned to dine here after some shopping. Our server... was wonderful. He was attentive and helpful extra napkins or coffee and water for our teas. I had veggie burger and two salmonsoy glazed rice for lunch.. I came here on a Tuesday evening prior to the new COVID-19 restrictions. It is located in the upper floor level of CF Markville... mall. There wasn't much of a lineup and the place was nearly empty since it was the last day to dine in. I ordered thefollowing: Caesar Salad ???? This was part of a side dish which was included as part of the Spaghetti Bolognese. All pastas andsteaks are served with your choice of start soup, Caesar or mixed greens salad. Their Caesar salad was pretty fresh and thecroutons was filled with crunchiness. The Caesar salad dressing was amazing so I would give this dish a fire ????. SpaghettiBolognese ???? This is Pickle Barrel's signature tomato meat sauce made with Canadian ground chunk, plum tomatoes & spices.Normally the server would ask if you would like pepper and/or parmesan cheese for pasta dishes. I ended up requesting theseitems for myself instead. The spaghetti might appear small but once you start mixing, the portion size is big. Their spaghettididn't have any visible white noodles so that is a plus. Each bite I took was delicious and I would also give this dish a fire????. Soy Ginger Glazed Salmon ???? This dish contains pan seared Atlantic salmon glazed and served on a bed of sautéedvegetables and brown rice. The vegetables were cooked perfectly. Their soy ginger sauce was legendary and when paired with thesalmon, it makes a superb duo. If you are a fan of teriyaki salmon, you would definitely love this dish. I would say this wasworth it ????. Say Cheese Cake ???? A classic cheese cake with topping choice of strawberry or chocolate sauce. It is made-upfrom three components: a crust on the bottom, a filling in the middle and a topping. When I ordered this dessert, I requestedfor the chocolate topping. However, the server said it only comes with strawberry but he could add chocolate sauce to the side.When the cheese cake arrived, it came exactly what the menu had described so I wasn't sure where the confusion was. Great customer service! My friends has a really good time there! The service was amazing! I ordered the zucchini pasta and I was... surprised that the zucchini was cut in such delicate strands!
