This is one my favorite spots at Russian River. I?ve been here four times over the past 3 years. It?s a unique ambiance,... especially with the Redwoods overhead. We always sit outside overlooking the golf course. One of these days I hope to play a fewrounds of golf, because the redwoods are so majestic and beckoning. The food is always good, as is the cocktails. I have had theburgers, the Rueben, the BLT and now the Club sandwich. All delicious! Oh and the pies are good too! Service is outstanding,even when busy. Northwood is not a place to be in a rush. So relax, take in the fresh air and look up at those beautifulredwoods. The Russian River Valley area is truly a place to getaway. Read more

Went here for lunch on a weekday and loved the location, menu, service, interior decor everything. Even the location is... picturesque! The golf course that this restaurant is next to is one of the top courses in the country! Service at the restaurantwas very friendly and prompt. I requested a mod to my order and they happily did that! There?s plenty of parkingavailable. There aren?t many restaurant options in the area, and if you are in the area driving to the ocean or the river etc,this is a good stop! Read more
As we walked in, we were greeted and told we could sit anywhere we would like. This is an older restaurant with a bar in the... restaurant. It is older but our meal was great for the price. My husband had the flat iron steak, and was it cooked perfectly. Ihad the porterhouse steak meal and it was also cooked just the way I requested. The service was great and everyone was veryfriendly. It is a great place for casual dining and good food. They also have homemade pies that looked delicious, butunfortunately I was too full to try. Maybe next time. Read more
