Stop in for lunch very attentive wait staff. Even the manager helped serve and bus tables. Souo served hot. Food had a great... flavor. Cocktails were very good. If ever back in the area would return. Read more

I had the tuna and it was good however the Bloody Mary was by far one of the most bland I've ever tasted and the gentleman who... waited on us was letting off such passive aggressive rude vibes and comments that we just wanted to leave but, it was the onlyplace open past 9:30pm. When I asked if I could substitute the rice in my meal due to dietary restrictions, instead of offeringoptions, I was met with an attitude and asked rudely what I wanted. Date night for my husband and I at Chapter one was exceptionally well. We had oysters which I love but was my husband’s first... time trying them. I must say, he loved them. For my entrée I had the filet mignon surf and turf and he had a cob salad and thechicken Alfredo too go. Everything was delicious, and well seasoned to perfection.I had the spicy Margarita was delicious aswell and he had Tito’s “neat” Our server was great, loved her! She kept checking on us throughout the evening making sureour meal was good and we had everything we needed. Sorry I forgot her name but she was great. The devils on horseback are SO good I have to get them every time. This time we also tried the Blt with cucumber and it was... nice, light and refreshing. We sat outside at the small sidewalk table, great service to us even being outside. Read more

We walked in at 230 this past Thursday and were the only people in the restaurant. The bartender greeted us right away and... immediately gave us menus and waters. We ordered the Paradise Lost (think pineapple cream pie) and the Blueberry Mojito. Bothdrinks were amazing but took a while to get to us. We also ordered two apps: calamari and French onion soup. These were orderedat 235. Shortly after receiving our drinks, the other associate working brought us a taste of truffle fries that the chef hadmade extra of. These were amazing and very crispy. Unfortunately, the great customer service ended after this. At 320 we stilldid not have the food we ordered, and we’re not given an update on where it was. During our visit, we were never asked if wewanted another round or needed anything. As we had to be somewhere for 4, we asked for our check and our food was listedalthough we still did not have it. We asked if it would be ready soon as we were just going to take it to go, to which thebartender responded “we only have one chef I don’t know what to tell you”. I understand places are short staffed howeverafter being the only patrons for the first 20 minutes of our visit, waiting over 40 minutes for two apps that should take 15-20minutes is unacceptable. We politely asked for the food to be taken off the check as they had no idea when it would be ready.While they eventually agreed to take the food off the check, the attitude received when bringing this to both of their attentionwas unprofessional. No guest wants to pay for services/food not received. We would come back based on drinks and truffle friesalone, but unfortunately our first experience with their customer service was not up to par.
