My first going and I enjoyed the coziness feel. The food and service was great. Can't wait to go back with friends.

Terrible customer service by the manager Ulysses and the waiter upstairs (not the bartender). We ask him questions and he acts... like we’re inconveniencing him. Asked him for our separate checks and he brings one and says he doesn’t separate checks andthen just slaps the checks on the table. Now, Ulysses comes when we asked for a manager to share our experience and he juststares at us and says “well is there anything else?” No apology or anything. This was a very weird and upsetting experience.NOW the general manager, Natalie, is EVERYTHING. We love her energy and vibe which makes it weird that her staff doesn’t havethe same energy. She is the ONLY reason why I’m leaving 3 stars. She definitely made it better. Read more

From start to finish my experience was great! My friends and I had brunch here a few weeks ago and we all enjoyed it. Order the... fried chicken and pancakes. They’re delicious! Read more

The WORST experience. Upstairs bar was rude. Barely anyone in his section. Got my order wrong after we waited forever. Then... waited again for my shrimp. Told us he would switch to hiphop when all the “white” ppl leave. I actually enjoyed the music.Won’t be returning. I really didn’t even want to tip bc woah. Nice cup though. Read more

Bar Pilar is a narrow bar with an upstairs dining room. We ate downstairs in the bar. It's a bar, so was a little noisy, but... were still able to have a nice conversation. Service was excellent. The food was fantastic, both in presentation and how ittasted. We had the roasted vegetables, butter chicken and a dumpling appetizer - all wonderful. The cocktails were tasty and hadenough alcohol in them to justify the price. I don't think you can go wrong eating here unless you are looking for someplacereally quiet. I never went upstairs. We came here after being added to the Ted’s Bulletin 1hr and 45 minute wait list. If people knew how awesome the food is here,... I’m guessing they wouldn’t willingly wait in that line. We ordered the pork hash and the barbecue chicken pancakes entreeand the food was simply heavenly. Our server, Lissa, was wonderful too. Bloody Mary was nice and spicy. So glad we camehere! Some additional comments about the pancakes. Usually, I have to butter my pancakes and add syrup before I can dive in.This place not only butters and syrups the pancakes but as you can see, they stage the pancake with the pork belly bacon andfried chicken on top. Wish I could give 6 stars. Read more

Absolutely loved the customer service here. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. It was my first time here, so I... wasn't sure what to expect. The food is like an Asian and Latin fusion (shrimp tempura tacos, guac burger, or zucchini fritterswith sambal sauce). Normally, I'm not a huge fan of fusion cuisine but they married the 2 cuisines perfectly here. I had thebraised pork steam buns (2 per order) and the shrimp tacos (3 per order) -- Both were delicious. I especially enjoyed the shrimptacos as they were light, but packed with flavor!!! The cocktails were also great. Would definitely love to go back and try somemore, even though it's a far drive from where I live. Would absolutely recommend!! ???? Read more

I usually love this place which is why i still give it a 4 but i only liked this meal. The quality of the beef i had was good... but i didnt like the kimchi sauce that accompanied it. Pate was good and the dessert pie was tasty. Read more
