Attractive room, comfortable seating, nice cutlery and dishes make Cook a pleasant place for a casual meal. There were several... families there when we had lunch. Our order was a Basic Burger and a Mandarin Salad, and this is where two stars drop. Theburger was done properly, medium, and the fries were hot and good. The salad was a total miss, a bowl of a couple cups ofchopped romaine, some shreds of red cabbage, a few sliced almonds, wontons from a bag, and a few orange slices. The dressing wasa salty vinaigrette, and there was way too much of it. Pricing is up everywhere, but the burger truly was Basic, and the saladwas seriously overpriced for how little effort went into it. Service was fine, there's lots of parking on the street and in thelot behind the restaurant. It is handicap accessible, in fact a patron with a walker came in while we were there. Cook's was one of those places that was pretty good to go to once, not sure if I would choose to go again. I didn't particularly... enjoy the shrimp bowl I'd ordered, and the drink (which I believe was a mocktail version of something with passion fruit) wasn'ttoo exciting either. However, a lot of my friends really liked the food, and the overall ambiance was pretty good! Read more
Great place! Nice ambiance, love the oven at the center of the action . If you want to support a local business go dine... here. Pizza as an appetizer works great, 1 for 2 people is just right. Everything we had was tasty, well cooked andpresented. Service was prompt and friendly. Read more
Fabulous brunch! Fun menu. We sat at a high top by the bar on a Saturday afternoon to enjoy brunch. The only downside was people... waiting for tables congregated by the door and bar area, so it was a bit intrusive. The mushroom, onion, swiss omelet wasdevine. Read more

Great food and flavors in a modern setting with friendly service. We stopped in for lunch and had an appetizer and several... different dishes, everyone at the table enjoyed their meal with fresh ingredients and good flavors.
