Ordered my favorite...chicken, shrimp and steak combination sizzling fajitas platter for $24 and split the dish with my dinner... companion. The sizzling platter was brought to my table along with the beans, sour cream and rice.... But no tortilla shells. Ipatiently waited for the tortillas. Waited so long, the plater stopped sizzling. And steaming. The waiter literally placed ourfood in front of us with No tongs or serving spoon or tortillas. Sat there smelling and looking at our dinner without being ableto eat it until 10 minutes later when we were graced finally with the tortillas with which to make our fajitas with. Wasn'tbusy. Either. I ordered takeout for my wife and I. when we took a weekend trip to Newport. The portion sizes were on the large side. The food... was ready when they said it would be. The service when picking up the order was fast and friendly. then to top the experienceoff of the food tasted great. We would definitely go back there again. Read more
We did not like the service and didn?t appreciate how unprofessional the servers were. Our family got there first and we were... not attended first. We were not served water meanwhile other two people got their beverages first. Beer was warm and did notoffer or provide a cup of ice. Overall service was not professional. Read more
This was our second time coming but it been quite a long time that we didn't remember what our experience was in the past, so we... decided to come back. At first glance, inside feel pretty dark but the establishment is kept very well cleaned. The table wasfreshly wiped down with a clean rag with bleach. We were pretty pleased that they served salsa AND beans, our children enjoyeating chips and beans, as much as they enjoy chips and salsa, It makes dinning less stressful. I order camarones a la crema,which was actually quite delicious BUT for the price that was paid, which is around 20$ wasn't very satisfying. There were maybe6/7? Prawns/big shrimps in total and a lot more broccoli and cauliflower and little to no mushrooms. Again, it was good butjust not at all what I had expected. Despite it being good, I was still fairly disappointed. My second disappointment camewhen I had asked to see their menu for alcoholic drinks and the sweet lady who sat us down said they only serve mocktails. Wechoose this restaurant due to the reviews and their drinks looked great unfortunately for what ever the reason may be, theydidn't have any available or perhaps no longer offer mixed drinks. My third and final strike was when we ordered a kids applejuice. We specifically said KIDS but the younger lady asked us which color we preferred for it to be served in. Both my partnerand I look at each other confused. My partner said "I don't know? This one," (points to the blue cup,) and than follows it with"what ever the ***kids*** apple juice comes in," When it was time to pay, we were charged for an adult apple juice. To ourconfusion we asked the young lady who took our order why we were charged a lot more for a kids apple juice. She said because wechoose the blue cup. We did not feel like arguing because we know times are tough. Stuck on Jury Duty and this was a quick two mins away. 6 if walking. The service and food both excellent. I highly recommend.
Don?t let the Karen?s with the one star reviews fool you!! This little place looks unassuming outside but the food is amazing!... We ordered the Grilled molcajete and 3 Amigos - chili rellinio, chili Colorado & chile Verde. The Cadillac margaritas wereperfect. Highly recommend! Read more
