Billys is a Newport Beach institution if you're looking to have a nice meal with cocktails "Mai Tai's" and views right on the... water. This is the place!! It's balanced with the wealthy and somewhat wealthy locals peppered with a few tourists taking in thewonders of the Newport culture. So with that food and drinks prices are not cheap unless you come between 3pm and 6pm the happyhour is worth it. The people watching and the views are a must to experience if your visiting Newport. The staff is always beenfriendly to us. That is why Billys is a mainstay for us. Read more
Billy’s was a little more upscale than I had anticipated, the food was good the service was ok the waiter forgot a few things.... The patio out on the water is nice but if your in shorts and a shirt it gets cool when the sun is setting. Read more

I came for happy hour. the calamari was very good and the kimchi dipping sauce spicy! (good) the chips and salsa not so good.... the chips had an odd flavor and so did the salsa. the blue Hawaiian drink was delicious. the staff was friendly and the valetparking out front was easy. Read more

Came here for lunch with a friend. Everyone we encountered was polite and professional, from the parking valet to the waitress.... We were led immediately to a patio table overlooking the dock where customers pull up by boat. Fun people watching. Ordered theCalamari appetizer. Absolutely delicious but it comes with a warning. We found the sauce too hot to eat, so we asked for a sideof ranch dressing to mix with the sauce. Even the waitress admitted the sauce is very spicy! Adding the Ranch worked. We had theCalifornia Style Burger with Swiss Cheese, Bacon, and Avocado. Presentation was 10 stars, taste was wonderful. Finished our mealwith a slice of Key Lime Pie.
