I ate at Jamjar this afternoon and I was really disappointed. I didn't enjoyed the food I ordered. It tasted as if it was... leftovers from the day before, not fresh or recently cooked. I ordered the vegan plater which I couldn't finish and to make itworst there was a piece of blue plastic in the food. No idea where it came from but I lost my appetite after this. I have beento the location at Commercial and it was so good. I had good expectations but ended up very sad to choose coming here :( Read more

The food is absolutely delicious and so fresh! We love ordering the vegan sampler. They give a little bit of everything. The... cauliflower melts in your mouth and the hummus and falafel is seasoned to perfection as is everything on the plate. We alsohighly recommend the baklava and seasonal drinks. First time checking this place out and what a pleasant experience! This gem is soo worth 5 stars and frequent visits back.... Here's one place that are absolutely doing things right, from the hospitality from their manager Mo, to the fresh and vibrantmenu items and their modern and very clean space. Places like this seem more and more rare to come by where the quality of foodand service are just so on point. It was the perfect lunch getaway. Mo helped us choose our items and there were still so muchleftover for dinner. The flavors were soooo good and it feels like you're making a healthier lunch choice as you don't leavefeeling super full and bloated. Loveeeddd it and would highly recommend. Read more

Jamjar has a few locations, but I really like this one. The shipyard location in North Van is a great place to dine in or take... out and sit with a great view of downtown Vancouver. I?m a big fan of Lebanese food and this place doesn?t disappoint. I optedfor the ?I want it all? bowl for $21.95 and it had a bit of everything?falafel, lentil stew, fried cauliflower, beef, lamb,chicken, dips and pita. Not only did they load it up (enough for 2 lunches), it was tasty and well done. The flavours andtextures of each dish are distinct and it all comes together for a satisfying meal. This Jamjar Canteen location is so cute! I love the vibrant space and of course, the delicious Lebanese food. It?s always so... fresh & beautiful! We ordered their bestsellers Makali (fried cauliflower) and Chicken Tawouk - soo good! Also got the Makanik(lamb sausage) and numerous dips to try. All good and even left with a jar of zaatar spice.
