This is a family friendly restaurant and we ordered breakfast. They have your typical breakfast dishes with a variety for... everyone. Our family ordered the N'oreaster, waffles, french toast and scrambled eggs. We enjoyed our food, but they forgotour utensils and seemed like they may have been shorthanded. The crab omelette was awesome. A bite of delicious Maryland blue crab in every bite! I wasn?t expecting the sprinkle of Old Bay... on top but it was a nice touch. The donuts there were great too. We tried the prune donut chain in O.C. but weren?t impressed. Idon?t really care for the design your own donut places. Why not just make the donuts you?re good at? Baskin-Robbins only has 31flavors, I?m sure they could go bigger too but who needs more than that?!??! Read more

Establishment had a large Dining area, all the staff were friendly and polite. There was a good size parking lot in back of the... restaurant and it was only a 15 minute wait for a table at 9 am which is very good. I love the seafood omelet which had juicypieces of shrimp along with a crab cake cooked inside. The coconut banana pancakes tasted great as well. I was intrigued by thedonuts at the front counter so I had to order some to go before I left. I will return on my next trip! Read more

We had a wonderful experience at Laytons Family Restaurant! We stopped in for breakfast and had to wait 15 minutes for a table,... but it was well worth it! I stayed at a hotel in Ocean City and asked for the best place nearby to get breakfast. I was referred to Layton's. It wasn't... bad but I've had better experiences at other restaurants OC. The restaurant was very clean. I received my order quickly. Thefood was good and the prices fair. The young lady who waited on my table was very pleasant but, for the most part, the staffseemed indifferent. Read more
