So delicious. My dad had the chicken enchilada entree and I had the barbacoa taco plate. Everything homemade. We sat outside at... a little table about a foot from our parked car. Unusual to sit there at first but the charming staff made us feel like family.Wish we lived closer to eat here often. Read more

This morning I was looking for a different place to eat and found this little place in Santa Ana. The reviews were a little... mixed but I thought I would give it a chance. I was intrigued by the guava french toasts but was discouraged since it didn?tcome with any sides. For $15.50 I wanted something a little more substantial. I went with the Chilaquiles Divorciados ($16). Itwas a mix of red sauce and green sauce - two fried eggs on too. Most of the tortillas are pretty soft so if you like a littlemix of soft and crunchy you may have to make a request. Beautiful presentation. I also had a delicious mocha abuelita ($5). Themenu is pretty small but the choices sound interesting. The place was empty when I arrived and was a little concerned since itwas still morning. However, it started to get more customers as I enjoyed my meal. There is outdoor seating but it?s right wherethe cars park so it was not desirable for me. Indoors they have ample seating. The host/waiter was very nice and always checkingon me. I would like to try the Orange location. Read more

Only had tacos. They are huge. Great tacos. Prefer the El Pastor over the carne asada, but both great. Super friendly and... helpful staff. Their cooking style is more southern Mexico style. No customizations though. :) Read more

Food is good , definitely fresh with a modern twist but still lacks something I can't quite pinpoint . The parking is tight and... often hard to find. The indoor and out door is seating is available usually without issue. The coffee is great and staff servicewas exceptional but the food wasn't as impressive as it has been in the past . Read more

Had breakfast here. The chilaquiles divorciadas come with the red and green variety with eggs on top. I love spicy food and... these were not spicy at all. But they had plenty of flavor. I personally preferred the red ones over the green. The presentationis very appealing. The service was friendly and attentive. Their hot chocolate is excellent using Abuelitas Read more

Just stumbled on this place. Wow- so good! We got the green chilaqueles, horchata French toast, and the veggie omelet. All of... them tasted incredible. The presentation is stunning and the turn around was really reasonable. Love it here! So glad we bumpedinto this place. Read more

This Is my second time here in just about 10 years. I actually don't even remember how the food was the first time around. The... good bits: known for their chilaquiles. ( Not a big chilaquiles fan, but my nephew picked the spot). Chilaquiles aren't halfbad. Throw some meat one there ( pollo or carne asada and artifact pretty good). Food comes in a modern upscale presentationwith modern upscale pricing, but workout the modern upscale ambiance. The servers are attentive and pleasant and we were ableto reserve tables for 15 people outside in the walkway on front of Anapelco's. The Not so good bits: parking is atrocious. Packed in a strip of buildings along a really busy road (main street) with about maybe diagonal 12 parking spots. I'd you missthe spots ( which some in our party did) then you drive to the back parking and walk around the building. One of the plates(Chile Relleno $13.5) was bland as can be, cheese wasn't melted all the way through and potatoes that came with the meal camesuper late. Now this is just my review, and again I'm not a big fan of chilaquiles. This isn't really a stroller friendlyplace due to the size of the restaurant itself. However, I'm sure those who love chilaquiles would love this place. Read more
