It?s always a pleasure to have breakfast or lunch at this welcoming café. It reminds me of a great place I?d find while on... vacation. Coffee is superb quality and the fresh-baked croissants are some of the very best in town. The house made sandwiches,soups, salads, and entrees seem endless and there?s always a daily special - always excellent. The handmade pizza issurprisingly great and all foods are well priced. Deli and bakery is a perfect place to grab a coffee and read the paper in the morning with a soft buttery croissant. Or maybe alunch to eat outside under the Roman brick archway or take to go you won?t have trouble finding a beautiful cliff side to enjoythe scenery. It is almost like you are not in LA, and sometimes a little break away is lovely. I highly recommend stopping in.It?s a family-run business that treats you as family. One day during summer vacation as a child my dad took me to work with him because the people whos house he was working on were... nice enough to let me watch TV or play in the backyard with their dogs or even swim in their pool, great people. For lunch mydad asked what I wanted to eat and I didn't know the area neither did he but down the street we stumbled upon this place and Idon't know what made me choose their veggie burgers because I'm not even vegetarian but I was in love. I've had their other foodwhich is great as well ! But for over 15 years later I still go there just for those veggie burgers and they still taste thesame as that first bite.
