Extremely disappointed. I waited nearly an hour for a basic to-go order on a slow night for the bar. My food was left behind the... bar unattended (wasn?t rung in to-go), then had to wait for it to be boxed (took 15 minutes), and was told the food had beenremade (as it had sat out for a half hour). It was not remade and we received cold, dry nachos, a soggy Caesar salad, soggy &cold fries and very poorly put together chicken sandwiches. My wife & I are usually very laid back about these types of things,but the food & service were very poor. The staff (outside of two people) seemed very young and unorganized. Not a goodexperience. I grew up here and 18 years later this place is still the worst spot in Pen to get a decent drink or bite. My husband and I were... in town for a wedding and I ventured a hesitant attempt at bare basic expectations on a hot & sunny day. If you like qualitycocktails or beers or food, this isn't your joint. It's a shame because they have beautiful real estate. They can't even makedecent nachos. Think piled high everything, nothing evenly cooked. Caesars were an absolute disgrace to a Canadian legacy. Ifyou value quality ingredients and a tasty product, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. Fyi...bathrooms are disgusting. Butour male server was lovely. Great views... and thats about it. Service, food, drinks, and interior all needs a lot of work. Place is ran down and has not... been kept updated nor clean. Management needs to step their game up. Waited over an hour for food when the place was half empty.Staff were too busy socializing or on their phones. Million dollar views are not utilized, this place needs to be on BarRescue... Read more
Very hard to rate this place - went there twice over the Canada Day long weekend. First visit was on Thursday - sat outside and... had pretty good service and the sunset something or the other bucket drink was delicious! I did complain about the music as itwas OLD jazz from the 60s I think - heard that the neighboring business also complained (it truly was aweful). Had nachos whichwere also very good. Went back on Saturday after the farmers market - approx the same amount of people and we sat for 20 minuteswithout so much as a hello from the staff. We left. So I think if you hit this place at the right time you will enjoy it but youmay also not be served. Will give it kudos for the view - very nice. Read more
Clean facility, friendly staff, great food, good prices and of course you can't beat that view on the huge deck! I've been here... many times and I would suggest not getting any beer on tap. There is very little to no carbonation in any of their beer...flatbeer is disgusting! It's happened several times, you think I'd know better. I'll definitely return because I do really like itthere except I'll only order beer in bottles from now on. Read more
Very reasonable prices (I was shocked). The Buffalo cauliflower bites are so delectable I always crave them! Such a beautiful... atmosphere right on the lake with a magical view! The pink lemonade slushy beverage (cannot recall the specific name) they haveis very tasty! Wonderful food and friendly service! I can?t wait to come back! Read more
We were there last night, September 10/22. Was the worst food ever! Our waiter was awesome and had come to our table 4 times to... apologize for our long wait. It was not busy either. Another couple at a table beside us sent their food back telling us it wasdisgusting. It took an hour and a half to receive the garbage food. We will never return. Again, our waiter was awesome and hetook my meal off the menu and half off of my husband?s. Can?t believe there isn?t management that seems to care about this. Dobetter! Read more
